They are describe as offspring of followers of God who marry out of faith or God's way.
Daimon in Greek means godlike. It is lesser see spiritual beings. Angel means "messenger". Both are spiritual beings. Ancient people used those terms precisely and, Imo, would not mixed those terms. Demon can be aAngels are NEVER called demons by Scripture. The idea that angels are demons is just another man-made false doctrine.
Does anyone actually say that demons are angels? I've never heard of that, and most people seem to understand the difference. Even I can tell the difference. Demons are red, with pitchforks, tail, horns - sometimes with a beard and an evil grin. Angels are in some kind of white gown, with wings and a halo.
Sometimes, angels will play a harp, while demons play electric guitars. (They might play a fiddle on occasion, but not as good as Charlie Daniels.)
The point is, there's a clear difference here, and I don't think anyone would get them confused.
The wages of sin is death. God's angels in heaven don't die. Therefore they don't sin.
Any angel said to have sinned refers to man.
Hmmmm, who was cast out of Heaven ? Were they not corrupted angels ? Are they not now demonic angels, i.e. demons ?I'm referring to the idea that demons are said to be angels. However, not by Scripture. Only in the false ideas of religious sects.
So, satan, being the angel lucifer, never sinned ? Seems not quite right to me.I believe the death Paul refers to may not always be physical death.

If not, where did the demons come from, and how could the one calling itself legion have known Christ ?

Well, have you ever tried to dance to harp music? It's just not possible.
Well Satan is the great deciever. Which begs the question whose his greatest victim?I'm referring to the idea that demons are said to be angels. However, not by Scripture. Only in the false ideas of religious sects.
Wait a minute, you take literalism to challenge literalism. Now that's good..Does anyone actually say that demons are angels? Ya know you seem to have an unreasonable prejudice against harps. And furthermore, clearly you are not an angel unless you show proof of wings and present a feather for dna testing to confirm scientifically.Well, have you ever tried to dance to harp music? It's just not possible.
