Why should the world be doing as US want is to do? Why do America think they have so much power over the other countries?

They have a vague principle about being world police.

Because the rest of the world, for the most part, counts on us to save their butts from predator countries. As for me, I'd just as soon kept our blood and treasure here in the US rather then spend it on very ungrateful regimes. BTW, if it wasn't for the US stepping in not that many years ago, most of the European types would be speaking with noticeable German accent.

I think they would be speaking with a Russian accent.

Before I answer, how have US decisions impacted you personally?

Seriously, this is the second thread I've seen you complain about the US's influence on the world.

Is Norway picking a fight? :D

Well i think like anything a good idea has metamorphed into bs. Thats why!

I could bore you with the history but in some ways its not really relevant actually. Amd btw not every american isnt aware of the issues. There is a suprising large amount of decent folk. Remember Barrack Obama!!!! The black guy with the musim name? Well same country also elected him, and he is much beloved by many. Inside and outside the US.
What is going On right now is a difficult time internally for the US. but maybe needed. Its sense of realty seems to have been extremely scattered by this little thing called the internet. We arent being very good as a community right now. More yelling than talking.

Could be a network of allies. The US just has the military muscle. While a lot of people from all over are afraid of all of the talking.

Norway as country is US friendly.
Why do i pick on US, and specially military? Because i have no faith in what they do and their agenda. As you know i am a pacifist and despice military action. And America show time and time again that they think they one the world. And that is so wrong.

A true pacifist doesn't attack, physically, verbally, or otherwise.

Please stop claiming to be a pacifist when you clearly display activist tendencies.

Because many Americans are heavy into "American exceptionalism", but just to show how "intelligent" that is, "American exceptionalism" has produced Donald J. Trump as its president.

I think it’s time the US stopped holding WWII over everyone else’s heads. Yes, thank you for finally getting into the war, after how many years after it actually started? Ostensibly only because of the tragedy of Pearl Harbour? If I recall history class correctly.

I mean I don’t blame the US for being reticent to going back to war after WWI, that’s fair enough. I think most countries wanted to let Europe sort it out for themselves.

The US likes to boast that it’s this high and mighty saviour. Well It only became the saviour after it was personally dragged into the fight. The rest of the world meanwhile didn’t wait to be attacked personally after the tragedy of 9/11. We all ran to the call for arms. And we’re a lot smaller in military might.

Okay, I’m half joking. But just know that the rest of the world doesn’t see the US as exceptional. Just arrogant with too much firepower. But we stay friends with you guys anyway, cause we accept you regardless. You guys are still cool. Well the orange in chief is a bit of a douche. But ehh, so’s our polies.

...and no doubt we'd have a Prime Minister called "Boris"...gee thanks guys (he said feigning a mid-Atlantic accent and deep gratitude for the "special relationship") - of course we already have a German monarchy - and have since - well - since before we lost our colonies across the pond...which is what you guys really rejected a couple of centuries or so ago - n'est-ce pas?

I don't entirely agree with the offensive drive the US. is taking with the exception of fighting terrorism. I liked our traditional demeanor and position of being a defensive country helping out when requested.

I always thought the Smurfs would handle peacekeeping actions, but we hardly ever hear about them anymore. Makes me wonder if they ran off to join the French Foreign Legion.
