  • Hello metis, thanks for your inquiry on Spinoza.....like I said, Ive browsed over some of his work, but not too deeply, his pantheism being of prime interest. Im more of a 'meta-theist', so some of my philosophical musing can seem purely 'pantheistic' :) - but its all a matter of nuance and context.

Hello back at ya. Most of us in our position usually don't differentiate between pantheistic and panentheistic as it's well beyond our ability to comprehend which is more likely to be correct. Take care.

yes, its nuanced metaphysics,......from a Spirit view, all comes from 'God' and returns to 'God' because 'God' is all there is anyways :) - we can differentiate, divide, seperate, distinguish between this or that, 'God' and man, etc. - I like to explore the metaphysics behind all :)
Thank you for the "likes" but more importantly, thank you for being a friend. You are loved always!

Ditto, and I'm on a mini-vacation in Battle Creek and am going to Western Michigan University tomorrow in Kalamazoo, and especially St. Thomas More Student Parish that was so very instrumental in bringing me back to Christianity.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of tears as I did last night because this will likely be the last time I'll be able to go there because of age. I'm going with a close friend who lost his wife two years ago and who teaches Catholic theology at the college level, so this is going to be hard for both of us, and yet we both need to do it.

I'll post to you tomorrow, and may God continue to bless you & your marriage.

For the thread - What is Capitalism?
I googled "How can paying people for digging a hole and filling it up again help the economy?"
But some people haven't even learned to do a proper search on Google as a start.
Thanks for the "friendly". It always makes me joyful when we interact. PLEASE, look me up when I get to Heaven--but hopefully God will bless me to see you before then in the here a now.
