Oh you know so much, do you? Then please tell me how many people will die before "herd immunity" (as it is called) is acquired in sufficient numbers to stop a pandemic in a country the size of the United States. HINT: It's in the seven digits range.
And when you are finished with that, tell me what are the odds the immunity will last longer than a few weeks or a few months?
Last, when you get done with all of the above, tell me what the best case projections are for the duration of acquired immunity with a SARS family virus.
Hey even with my condition I'm still running out and doing my part and not worrying about getting it or not, because I respect and live by one statement from Native Americans.....
~When the blood in your veins returns to the sea, and the earth in
your bones
returns to the ground, perhaps then you will remember that this land does not belong to you, it is you who belongs to this land.~
And yes we will collectively survive. 7 digit numbers or not which is a load of bull s*** anyways because if that had been the case, you would have seen those seven digits already manifesting in large populations.
Maybe if you stop projecting sensational numerical theories of mortality rates and look at reality, that even if you catch it the odds are that you will survive it, even those infirmed and weak although the prospects of the latter are not as rosy.
And I'm willing to put those words to the test myself because I'm out there working, with the health conditions I have, and I'm not afraid of catching it. If I survive, I know I'll be better off next time around I perchance catch it no matter what.
