Thank you, Mr. Trump. Your incompetent response to the pandemic has made America number one again.
After watching the latest POTUS et alia Press meeting on TV today, a truly disturbing thought came to me: at this point, I'm inclined to believe that Pence, as low as my opinion of him is, would make a better president.

Good. That'll means we will probably be the first out of all this as our immune systems adapt and adjust.

Jeebers. I can see you were the go-to student in med school for when all the others didn't know the answers.

You don't even know what you're talking about, do you.

Many, many people have arrived at that opinion. The Hill, a conservative news source, ran an article on that just yesterday or the day before.

Herd theory hasn't been credibly supported for this particular pandemic, as far as I am aware.
It does apply to some things, but do you have any reason to believe it's a positive in this specific outbreak?
Second part of the question, do you think herd theory is part of a deliberate strategy?

Oh i think i do.

Can You Become Immune to the Coronavirus?

It's called adaptation.

Oh you know so much, do you? Then please tell me how many people will die before "herd immunity" (as it is called) is acquired in sufficient numbers to stop a pandemic in a country the size of the United States. HINT: It's in the seven digits range.

And when you are finished with that, tell me what are the odds the immunity will last longer than a few weeks or a few months?

Last, when you get done with all of the above, tell me what the best case projections are for the duration of acquired immunity with a SARS family virus.

OP: Your citation is factually wrong. The World Health Organization’s (WHO) statistics contradict it. As of today, March 26, the U.S. has the third highest number of known cases. Furthermore there are several countries, such as Spain, which have far, far greater cases per capita.

We are now at the point of arguing whether being third globally for COVID-19 infections is much better than being first.

Was this the America you wanted when you voted four years ago? Because I doubt it was.

You know for certain the World Health Organizations stats are more accurate than Johns Hopkins, eh?

I don't think you really know. I think you're just assuming they are more accurate.

Me, I'm going with Johns Hopkins.
