That's kind of you. It was "good" in that it was calm and peaceful. My wife is not a social butterfly, so if I want more pzazz in a holiday, I have to travel to get it, and I'm rarely motivated enough to travel. Ergo, the almost unnoticeable passing of a holiday. How about you? What holidays, if any, do you celebrate?

I celebrate none right now as I live with my family but when I move out I may try to join in some Jewish ones. We had a good Xmas, lovely dinner and some gifts. I'm glad to hear yours was in frith, at least :)

I see. Well, I don't want to sound snobbish or anything, but I do spend 20% of my time on here reading the rules and the mod board, thinking about what the mission might be. I'm the curious type.

LOL. I saw them on-line and ordered them several years ago. (They've worn-out since my picture was taken.) When they came in the mail, I put them on and showed them off to my wife. She said "[email protected]#, do you want folks to think you're gay?" Sheesh, ... I had never heard of their symbolism. Anyway, I liked them so much, I wore them anyway.

And when folks gave me the "Uh-oh, are you gay?" look, I'd tell 'em: I'm reclaiming the rainbow. My gay & lesbian relatives love them and they're a subtle way of showing my position on several issues that is not so "in your face." Time to get new ones.

2nd time around now, and the Doc gave me the details of what's happening inside my body and the awesome surgical procedure required to bring me through this roller coaster ride. Ignorance was bliss prior to the 1st. I'm a bit afraid this time around.

Thanks for reminding me. The wife and I haven't had Thai food for a while, and I've had a hankering for it. (That and Chinese Dim Sum are our favorite meals.)

I prefer Indian curry, that's what most Brits eat. I like Thai food as well, but not big on Chinese at all. I remember once we had a Thai friend who made a curry so hot even she couldn't eat it.

Yeah, I realized after I posted that you (being a Brit) probably had Indian curry in mind, not Thai curry. :-) I like both, but prefer Thai.
