I believe in God but sometimes I ask myself these questions:

    1. Why is there a God who created everything? Why is there no God and therefore nothing?

    2. Why is God good and just and not bad and unjust?

    3. Can God the Almighty "destroy" Himself? If not, is he almighty at all?
Can God the Almighty give his omnipotence to another? If not, is he Almighty at all?

Do you sometimes ask yourselves questions that no one can answer? If so, what kind of questions?

I feel like it's putting the cart before the horse to ask "why is there a God who created everything?" before the question "is there a God who created everything?"

Same thing: strip off the "why" first. Until you can answer the question "is God good and just and not bad and unjust?" asking the "why" is begging the question.

I accept there are many possible questions that I will never have an answer for especially about God. I suspect I'll die knowing no more about any God than when I was born. So I don't really worry about it.

Au contraire...there is a very simple answer for this. It's "yes" and "no".

Because others, folks you'd think you should be able to believe offer God as an answer. However if one actually thinks about it, God doesn't answer anything. It's just way, temporarily at least, to get folks to stop asking.

Which perfectly illustrates why god as an explanation for the universe doesn't work.

Well, the second is easy. God is good and just because God has been invented by humans, who like good things, in general

    Ciao

Sure. I ask if the cycle of violence can be ended without ending the human race. To justify our existence do we need to believe that in the future people will end violence? This is because I don't think humanity is Ok. I don't think its Ok the way things are and have been for the last two hundred thousand years. There needs to be people in the future who have better lives, don't rape each other, don't have any interest in violence and anger, aren't so easily afraid.

    Very good questions.
    I can't answer them.

Rather than ask questions like that though, I ask myself what is God really like - in nature; in appearance.
I think it's so awe-inspiring that the vision Ezekiel had must have really been... I don't know the word to describe his feelings.... terrifying?
    No wonder he fainted.

Speaking of which... I have to go read.

What about God walking in the garden in Genesis?

What about origin of language and human behavior?

    Well.

    1. I think this question is not answerable so easily because it depends on each persons idea of God. What if God is not a magician but a part of the universe or the life and soul of the universe? How could a question of no God be there in that case?

    2. What if there is nothing called just or unjust as we understand? What if Justice is sometimes cruel and we don't understand it? e.g. In order for the world to evolve there has to be a number of deformities and seemingly unjust things come true and that is actually a just thing to happen?

    3. I think this too would be questioned based on my answer to the 1st question.

    Interesting questions mate.

You have no verifiable evidence for that statement.

Look at the creation, that's the proof. Can such a thing arise from chance? Never.
There must be someone who has created all this (the laws of physics, the human brain, the solar system...).

Now "god", that can arise itself out of nothing.

It is interesting to me how many will say
things like "the one thing I know for sure is
that there is god", when that is one thing
    they cannot know.
