President Trump won't commit to peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election

It’s the Democrats that are the ones that are demonstrating they would not accept the peaceful transfer of power. They are preparing many ways to steal the election. Extending deadlines for ballot turn in, requiring no postmarks, no required verification of ballot signatures, or no signatures at all! They have literally a thousand lawyers standing by waiting to file cases after November 3. Cases before left wing Biden sympathetic judges. All designed to stall, delay, and undermine the confidence in the election results. Delays to “manufacture” ballots. Because they are scared they won’t win with genuine voters. For example in Pennsylvania a bank of Democrat judges ruled ballots don’t have to be in on time and can be postmarked after Election Day. Similar measures are happening in most of the battleground states.

The Democrats are scared and trying to steal the election.
I would like to kindly request you stay on topic for the video and topic at hand.

Does anyone believe there's a greater chance of violence if Trump loses than if he wins? I don't. Also, the reporter's question was not clear to me. He asked Trump if he will commit to a peaceful transition if he wins or loses. The reporter mentioned current riots. Trump already tried to stop riots and the left screamed at him. What is he supposed to do if he wins and the left riots?

Edit: I just saw this headline from NBC News: "Trump on transition: 'There won't be a transfer." So Trump says he's going to win so there will be no need to transfer power. NBC implies in their headline that he will refuse to transfer power if he loses. Nah, the left media does not fake the news.

I hope you are right and this is just another gaffe/misunderstanding by the media.

There's no doubt that Trump blows a lot of hot air. He likes to irritate. I suspect whoever loses will fight it in court and claim fraud. This is not going to be a pleasant election for the USA. If Trump loses the election, including in court if necessary, he will peacfully leave office. But if it goes the other way, I fear more violence than we've seen yet.

Trump already tried to stop riots

By using tear gas and violence to clear a peaceful protest so that he could be photographed holding up a bible in front of a church ?

Great way to stop riots - by inflaming people who are protesting peacefully.

Trump wants riots. Riots serve his ‘law and order’ agenda.
He has the morality of a rabid dog.

You can speculate that Biden will claim fraud if he loses. Maybe because there will be fraud; or maybe not. But we know Donald Trump will claim fraud no matter what if he loses. Because he told us.

I don't remember the loser claiming fraud and fighting it in court when it was Bush vs. Clinton, Clinton vs. Dole, GW Bush vs. Kerry, Obama vs. McCain, or Obama vs. Romney. The notable exception was GW Bush vs. Gore, but even then, it was a very close election and Gore conceded.

What changed? We now have an orange fascist baby in the White House, that's what changed.

A normal person would have noticed the "peaceful" part of the question. The correct answer is: of course it will be peaceful. But I intend to win.

Donald Trump didn't even notice peaceful. Because he doesn't care about whether it's peaceful or not. He noticed the part about transfer of power and said there won't be one. Period. This is fascism.

But why speculate? Surely someone can just ask a follow up question and he'll be glad to clarify that if he loses, it will be peaceful. Right? Do you think he will say that?

Why do his supporters speculate about what he said like indulgent parents trying to understand a babbling one year old? He's an adult. Someone just ask him.

My gut says there is an orange fascist baby in the Whitehouse who is being mentored by Putin.

“Claim fraud even if you expect to win. Fan the flames of division and chaos. Encourage your supporters to ‘put down the socialist left revolutionaries’
You have four years to drive all that resentment into civil war, and then you can become an Emperor, like me.
Not quite as macho as me, but near enough. I’ll even give you some polonium to get rid of any major troublemakers.”

I have met conservative Russians, and they still believe Putin saved Russia, and that all the terrible stories about him are ‘fake news’.

Meanwhile, in reality, it is Trump who is actively trying to hinder the mail-in voting system and dismantle the American postal system specifically to hinder Democratic voters, and has specifically told his voters to vote twice. Trump supporters have also been asked to gather around voting stations, where they have been observed shouting at and intimidating voters and staff (source: Trump Supporters Disrupt Early Voting in Virginia)

This idea that prolonging the election somehow "helps Democrats cheat" is a nonsensical fantasy to distract from the very obvious attempts by the Trump administration and voter base to disrupt the democratic process.

Which they already did, remember?

Actually, the headline is accurate. He was asked if he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power, and he did not answer affirmatively. That is refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer.

He claims "00:40: There will not be a transfer, there will be a continuation"

My opinion on this:
I believe in, what some call conspiracy, that "the filthy rich elite" already decided who will be president next
IF it is Trump THEN I have my proof. Because not 1 sane person votes for Trump hearing this 1 min video
IF it is Trump THEN I have my proof that Trump is part of the elite (knowing this by making such claim)

How Trump talks (is how he is) clearly proves he is narcissistic at best, psychopathic/Hitler at worst

It’s interesting that Scott thinks Trump said “he’s going to win so there will not need to be a transfer of power”.

Listen to what he actually said. Trump didn’t say he was going to win. He didn’t say that would be the reason for no transfer of power.

He babbled something to insinuate the votes will be fraudulent.

Then he said there will not be a transfer of power.

And he ignored that little detail about things being “peaceful”. Sort of like when kids are asked to do chores and they ignore “today”.

How is this different from what a fascist would say?

It’s interesting how Trump’s defenders put words in his mouth to whitewash him.

I’m adding this one to my “If Obama did it” file.

And/or chain yanker extraordinaire.

Nah...sadly I think not. He's a sales man. I've worked with a few like him over time. Almost everything he says is somewhat understandable through that lens, imho.

Some of those guys were effective at their jobs, depending how you measure such things, but there was invariably collateral damage.

It's pop psych 101, so I'm just offering my opinion, here, but it's one I very strongly hold.

He "tried to stop the riots" through violence against proestors and "disappearing" agitators into unmarked vans instead of doing anything about the injustices that motivated the people to protest.

Of course "the left" screamed at this. Anyone who cares about liberty should scream at it.

Provide a compelling case for why we should believe his election win wasn't thanks to fraud.

... and even if he manages a legitimate win, he should expect resistance if his administration continues to infringe on people's fundamental rights.

We're both experts in pop psychology.
And my opinion is a great value for how much you paid.
