Looks like they were wrong on that count. This is exactly why Trump won. Half the country believed the other choice was worse.

Can you come up with a list of 10 lies that Hillary told publicly? To be fair, you should list all the lies of Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
Didn't you know that all politicians are liars?
Deep down, my interest is to hear the arguments from the other side. I want to know why Trump supporters aren't holding him accountable yet. Obviously there are plenty of Trump Thumpers who are able to just ignore all this stuff. I want to know what's going on in their heads.
You, otoh, seem to have a pretty reasonable outlook on this political storm. I feel like I understand where you are coming from.
And that's where their depravity comes in as we saw very clearly in advance that he would say and do almost anything, thus lacking a moral compass. What's he saying now is just an extension of what he continually said for over a year while running for the office! It never ceases to amaze me that many of those who are obviously dining on sour grapes still believe that Trump supporters thought that they were electing the Pope or the Messiah. They knew what they were getting.
But we don't know that yet because the investigations are not complete, so it's best not to jump to conclusions one way or the other.I agree that he tells some whoppers. However, none of that is illegal or actionable.
But it's the continual rallying of the troops by repeating the same confirming beliefs.
How could that possibly happen, though? This is exactly why Trump won. More than half of the non-Californians believed the other choice was worse.
. When their lives go downhill and they start suffering the effects of policies and laws, then change might happen. That's human nature.
Actually I tend to think he likes it more for the adulation from the crowd that makes him feel more important. The two men who helped him write his books both say that he's a "small man" that thrives on praise to boost his ego, which is also why he can't accept those who disagree with him and why he won't apologize. There's a sinister reason Trump keeps holding rallies for his fans. He'll tell them anything to keep the lies going.

This is where I don't agree. I don't have a problem with people having two sides. The same is true for pretty much all public figures (athletes, celebrities, even pundits). What bothers me is making public libelous claims about others without being held accountable.
Can you remember a politician who made a false criminal allegation about their predecessor without being held accountable for it?
Evidence? She's a very corrupt woman who is only interested in money and politics.
Maybe you should do some serious reading about her before posting the above clap-trap.She could care less about the U.S. citizens.
And you just told a dandy of one.Every word that comes out of her mouth is a lie.
Wasn't it Trump that started this war with the media/system?Seeing that the whole system seemed against our elected president Trump, it is no surprise to me that they are blind to any evidence which would support Trump and the media's "watchful eye" can perceive them as lies. Can Trump fire Comey or disband the FBI?
Nixon for one was held accountable and resigned to avoid impeachment. Is any politician ever held accountable for any lies or misstatements they make?
It's not that I'm defending Trump, but I do find some of these attacks to be a bit hard to swallow. Let's face it: Politicians lie. Politics is a dirty business. Didn't anyone notice this before now?
I'll tell you why I'm pretty much amused by this whole spectacle. For years, decades in fact, I have hated politicians, politics, and the generally arrogant way the political and financial elite have lorded it over the rest of the country (most of them have been on the conservative side, such as the Reagan Robots, but there have been a few liberals who fell into that as well, such as the Clintons and the Starbucks-drinking Limosine Liberal crowd). Basically, the people in media, academia, and other elite bastions have set the agenda, set the tone, and pretty much dictated the narrative of what "good Americans" are supposed to believe in and support.
At the same time, I've watched the country slowly go down the drain, all the while the politicians from both parties were trying to convince us that we were all better off. It was only the rich who were better off; the middle class stayed the same, while the poor got poorer.
This was all going on under the very noses of the same people who are now all up in arms over Trump in the White House. These same factions who presided over the ruination of America's economy over the past 30-40 years are now trying to convince us that Trump is bad for America. Considering their track record, I would wonder if these people even know what's good for America.
The thing that's so amusing about it all is that Trump is beating them at their own game. What we're seeing is an example of BS vs. BS, scum vs. scum. It's been long overdue, and it's something that America badly needs as a wake-up call.
I think some might prove actionable - we'll see.I agree that he tells some whoppers. However, none of that is illegal or actionable. I'm still waiting to see what he is going to do. Hopefully, he'll do something other than endlessly campaigning.
You're focusing upon differences instead of similarities of the analogy.Creationism has no facts, and Leibowde has posted stuff from day 1 until now, meaning they aren't the "same old same old."
I can't predict the future. We have an election to win in 2018.
Will this convert anyone who engages in Trumpolegetics? Of course not.
Will it start to crack those who may have voted for him and regret it come election time? Will it help marry all f this to those who give him a pass for his deceit (the Republican controlled house/senate)?
Trump is energizing a new generation, and not the depends-wearing, geritol set. I see a bright future ahead, long after the ancient FoxNews Trumpets are long since dead.
As well he should, given the actual significances of each. You're focusing upon differences instead of similarities of the analogy.
There are always differences in analogized situations....that's why they're analogies instead of identical. As well he should, given the actual significances of each.
