Ride the damn lightning! From a practical stand point, this should not be done while driving...just sayin'.
There is this paradox I become acutely aware of when I am in a state of awe in the presence of the night sky, otoh I feel as you say insignificant, but there is also simultaneously and unambiguously, an inner source of my being 'saying' non verbally that all this is what and who you really are!...I marvel at how insignificant I am. And, it's a good thing.
What do you find fascinating about your life in comparison to the universe?
Most people can't recognise the world map (not immediately) (Mercater projection) if it's turned the other way around.I find it a fascinating perspective to look down at the universe, rather than up, just because.
I flip maps around as well, just because......its fascinating.
...I marvel at how insignificant I am. And, it's a good thing.

I am the universe. And I know nothing.
I am the universe formed into a creature with senses and a mind.
I look inward at myself, and outward at myself, and know nothing.
So I make myself a cup of tea, and contemplate my death.
always nicer....enjoy.Good point.

Isn't it a non sequitur fallacy to look at the size of the universe and then claim that we are insignificant because of how small we are in comparison to it? What does size in relation to the universe have to do with value? What's the link between the two? Unless of course you are subjectively using it as a personal standard for how you measure value, which in that case it makes senseHow insignificant not only us (life) is but the entire panet.

Yes, looking at the universe does make me feel insignificant....I marvel at how insignificant I am. And, it's a good thing.

Hmmm...someone put mushrooms in the honey, and it has turned blue.
Oh well, I’m sure it will be fine. It looks pretty.

Never tried that brand before ...they call this blue stuff ‘Kykeon’.
You’ll never ever know if you never ever go.
Tastes OK...
How curious it is that a glimpse of the cosmos makes us feel more human.
Don't really feel anything.
It exists. I exist. I guess that's about it.
I am small and very insignificant in relation to the physical aspects of the universe, but God exists and knows little ole me....I marvel at how insignificant I am. And, it's a good thing.
