I think de Gaulle's quote is even more relevant today, checkout what macron said, "if there was a frexit referendum the. French people would vote to leave" and as I said before they won't allow it,just as they did for us for years.
We'll see about frexit,I guess they're pretty busy covering the failure with the vaccine supply and how useless macrons government has been.
I don't remember that on the side of a bus??It's early days for brexit, there was always going to be problems,I think they will improve though.

When can we expect the £350 million a week for the NHS?

Yes we'll see, i live here and hear no talk of project fear.
France has just passed the 1 million vaccinations mark after a slow start. There is no shortage of the pfyzer vaccine despite rumours started by the same sort of people who throe frexit about as a big thing
Which is why i watch france24 and not sky, they have no political agenda and they fact check

My first trip to France was in 2002. I saw the French very sad and they told me: we will be missing our old frank. Our own currency. I was 15 back then..I could not understand. Then I did. The Euro was nothing but a fraud for France, Italy and many other countries. It appears that Frexit is being promoted by right-wing populists in France.
Anyway, the French now have the advantage of being able to watch how Brexit works out in practice, and what it might involve for them.

Why has a common currency led to this imbalance in economic prosperity?
