Take my life, take it, my Lord
and may your flame burn in my heart
May my entire soul vibrate for you.
Be my Lord and my divine King

You source of life, peace and love
To you I cry, night and day
Be my support and guide me
Give me life, you my solely Good.

Protect me from the sly evil
Come, my joy, you maker of faith
if the dark night obfuscates my sight,
Be my star , and bright before me

You source of life, peace and love
To you I cry, night and day
Be my support and guide me
Give me life, you my solely Good.

When I come to you and your glory,
I will be resplendent again,
I'll be together with saints by a pure heart
and will never leave you,

After "Pics from your Religion", now, do post the most beautiful songs from your religion.
It has to deal with religious songs exclusively

This song is not from My religion but its from my spiritual up bringing. Its personal to me so I'm putting it up here.

It was popular in 1987 when I was a member of ALateen a recovery group for teen agers who have parents who are Alcoholic. I use to hang out with my Alateen friends and listen to this. Now that I'm having surgery it makes me want to cry.

Translation: "The Wise Thief didst Thou make worthy of Paradise, in a single moment, O Lord. By the wood of thy Cross illumine me as well, and save me." Sung during Holy Week in the Orthodox Church.

Wait hang on, where did the last 21 minutes go? Sorry, I zenned out too hard.

Lyrics:
(Slavonic) Gospodi Isuse Khriste, Syn Bozhe, pomiluj mja greshnago.
(English) Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Mary...
We are your children and want to love You
as nobody has ever loved You
We are all yours and want to love You
as nobody has ever loved You

With you and your life, our path is safe
With you any step leads to the destination
And even by night You are with us
You turn every fear into certainty

We want to be that crown of roses of yours
A crown of children who are all yours
May Your presence in the world return through us
as a endless chant of praise

Mary...

@Shiranui117 Thank you for your nice Christian Orthodox chants
To the people here: please, try to respect the OP and publish religious music only. Thank you

My first Communion song....

Look at me, my Lord.
Read my heart
I am your child, Listen to me
Abbà, Father
Abbà Father, Abbà

I won't be lonely
I will rely on You
I am your son, Hug me
Abbà, Father
Abbà Father, Abbà

For all my pains,
I will invoke Peace
I am your son, Heal me
Abbà Father
Abbà Father, Abbà

Thank you my Lord
for Your immense Love
We are Your children, Alleluja

Abbà Father, Abbà

Psalm 22

The Lord is my Shepherd,
He doesn't miss any expectation.
In very green pastures He makes me lie down,
He makes me drink at still waters

He restores my soul, He leads me to righteous paths
For the sake of His very holy name,
With Him I feel safe

Even if I went through obscure valleys,
I will fear no evil
For You are always with me
You protect me with Your staff

What table do you prepare before the eyes of my enemy?
and you anoint my head with oil
my chalice is full of staggering

Goodness and grace are my companions
all days of my life
and I will be in the House of the Lord
all the days of eternity

The Lord is my shepherd

Josquin des Prez Ave Maria:

I sang this some years ago in The Hague and found it magical - once we'd learned it - it is a tough piece! Amazing to think it was written before 1500. Early music is really complex and challenging.

Contradiction, irrationality and disorder
There is not much music written by Thelemites (or bands/artists inspired by Thelema) that I generally like - but John Zorn (one of my personal idols, as a composer/musician/artist) happens to have some incredible music inspired by the aforementioned:

On the devotional side, Krishna Das also continues to move me in massive way:

But that's only two examples, both musicians have a great wealth of beautiful and incredible work. I'm not a person who separates religious from secular music either.

This particular song is one that very much captures my 'word-view' quite strongly: "Laugh, love, live, learn"
