Religious songs from your Religion

I don't know if you speak Spanish, but I guess that this song is somehow related to your religion\spirituality
I don't speak fluent spanish. I usually choose songs that are soothing or that have certain instruments I like. Mostly instrumental. The goddess songs they have good messages I relate to. It depends on the song, really.

Translation: Sweet Mary
You are the Star, Sweet Mary
who from above lighten my path,
Ask for grace on our behalf
to your Jesus.
with that maternal tenderness.
I am consecrating my heart to you,
to you ,who, by gift, generated God.
To you who are the comfort of those who implore
the smile of those who hope
the promise of Eternity
O sweet pious Virgin Mary turn your eyes towards us.

O sweet Virgin Mary turn your eyes towards me (twice)
I devote my life to you, we are your children (twice)
I am yours.

You are the Star, sweet Mary
who from above lighten my path
You will always be, Mary
the comfort of those who implore,
the smile of those who hope,
the promise of Eternity,
o sweet pious Virgin Mary,
turn your eyes towards us, towards us
You are the Light to us.

Here's part of one I sang last week (tune "Abide with me")

Daughter of Zeus, Persephone divine,
Come, blessed queen, and to these rites incline:
Only-begotten, Pluto’s honoured wife,
O venerable Goddess, source of life.

Hear, blessed Goddess, send a rich increase
Of various fruits from earth, with lovely peace:
Send health with gentle hand, and crown my life
With blest abundance, free from noisy strife;

Last in extreme old age the prey of death,
Dismiss me willing to the realms beneath,
To thy fair palace and the blissful plains
Where happy spirits dwell, and Pluto reigns.

God's spirit, fill me
God's spirit, baptize me
God's spirit, bless me. Come dwell in my heart

God's spirit, heal me
God's spirit, renew me
God's spirit, bless me. Come dwell in my heart

God's spirit, fill us
God's spirit, baptize us (twice)
God's spirit, bless us
Come dwell in our heart

After "Pics from your Religion", now, do post the most beautiful songs from your religion.
It has to deal with religious songs exclusively
Been through Hindu and Zen meditation as a part of my spirituality as well as Unitarian Universalism.

This is Hindu.

निताइ dasa

Nitai's servant's servant

Lord Gaur Nitai's Sankirtan movement! For us singing and glorifying God's Name is the main religious process and practice.

Hare Krsna Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

And of course Nityanandastakam (8 verses to the supreme Lord, whom we call Nitai). I try and sing this everyday:

One day a man went meet Jesus,
he was a foreigner who lived there and he was praised for his virtues by everyone.
"I heard so much about you. A servant of mine is dying
and I know there is nobody but you, who can save him", he said.

"Please, my Lord, don't come to my house,
because I know that my heart doesn't deserve you,
but I am certain that just by one word"
you can heal my servant
"Because I am a man who knows what he does,
and If I tell a soldier "go", he will go,
and If I say it to my servant, he will too."

"In Israel there is no such a faith",
said Jesus to those who were listening to him.
And in that moment the servant was healed.

"Please, my Lord, don't come to my house,
because I know that my heart doesn't deserve you,
but I am certain that just by saying one word
you can heal my servant"
Please, my Lord, enter my heart.
I have nobody but you who can understand me,
who can heal me. Let my faith in you grow day by day

What a coincidence. I was just in the woods burning some car seats someone left out there with, incense, sage, and bread while chanting some latin hymns I learned at the monastery :)

Made my grain offering in the shape of a cross, for Jesus, the bread of life, was the complete grain offering.

Shadows distend themselves, Evening is already coming

And the reflexes of a neverending day start fading away behind mountains

the reflexes of a recurring day, for eternity.

For we know that a new life has started from here and will never cease.

Stay here with us, the Sun is already setting

Stay here with us, Lord, it's evening already.

Stay here with us, the Sun is already setting

If you stay with us, the Night will never come.

The circle of Your wave stretches towards the sea,

And the wind will push it until it will get to the borders of each heart, to the doors of True Love.

As a flame that burns anything, wherever it goes

Your Love will be invading the entire world,

Before our eyes, mankind struggles, suffers, hopes-

It's like a arid soil that during drought begs to a cloudless sky,

which can always give her life.

Together with You, we will become spring of pure water

Together with You, the desert will flourish.
