Hey! Is it true that some people, if they meditate enough start rising into the air? You didnt up and leave us yet have you?
    Friend Christian Brother,
Already follow the Zen PATH on my own. Am sure you would have gone through the Zen threads in the forum to understand that.
There is no requirement for me to get a sticker of ZEN for that from anyone just wanted to know as to how one gets indoctrinated in Zen officially, if one wanted to.
    Love & rgds
Oh, right ok. Well, all you really need to do is accept the Zen way of life really.

You don't need to practice it as strictly as the Buddhist Monks do, but you will need to practice the art of meditation, as it is the main belief in Zen Buddhism.

Also, it may help to find yourself a Koan, as this will help to expand your mind and stretch your interpretation to their limits.

    :meditate:
lol I know. It was just you said, "Crispy clear" when I think you meant, "Crystal clear". Just found it funny.
My friend ,You are right I am a Hindu. I like to call my self Want To Be Hindu it reminds me to enjoy the path and worry about the end result. It also gives me a chance to tell others what I think a Hindu is.
I call myself Want to be Hindu because a Hindu:

    Gives more then he takes

    Treats all beings with respect.

    See's God in all beings.

I cant do this 100% of the time so Im a wanabee
    Greetings zenzero

    Friend Venu,
You have rightly pointed that friendliness is an inborn quality and so is compassion. Rest are formalities which are mind doing and depends on personal choices. Similar view expressed about conversation being a dharma to which would add that what ever one does is dharma.
Yes, am starting the thread on Doing Nothing to which would like views from the Sanatana Dharma of which my readings, knowledge are very limited though am sure that they are all covered somewhere in it.
Whatever others view be it followers of Islam or any other religion please understand that all enlightened men knows that everything is the same for all humans BUt due to circumstances their folowers create such situations to craete that image for other things beyond religion.
By not allowing our mind to be distracted by such claims and by being positive in our own outlook and by being one pointed in our own acts of dharama will craete the environment where all huamns willknow taht we are all one though may use differnt roads.
    Keep smiling.
    Love & rgds
Dear Zenzero, You queried as to why I have more threads devoted to islam than Sanatana Dharma. No particular reason. But I do find Islam's claim that it alone is true and all other religions are accursed something that ought to be countered. And I find myself doing that more often than not. I need to converse more on Sanatana Dharma. But then, which conversation does not pertain to Sanatana Dharma? To converse, in civility, is itself Dharma.
I like what you said about your occupation - doing nothing. The course of my life changed when I met my Guru and he kept saying, "There is nothing to do". Please start a thread on "doing nothing". I would like to join in with my comments.
