I posted earlier the links to the evidence where it is shown Biden has done so. Interesting if you claim they are not true.

Biden Signs Executive Order To Ban The Term 'China Virus' | ZeroHedge

I think that is against the constitution and Biden should be impeached.
I don't waste my time with that overtly biased source. It's so pathetic they really don't even have a clue who Tyler Durden is yet they use his name and image.
And because they are often wrong. In this case Biden did not ban the term "chinese virus." Can't use the term federally now, but that word is not really used outside of the realm of the Trumpeter. Amd federal documents should be using accurate terms, not loaded jargon.

Doesn’t that make you biased?

Amd federal documents should be using accurate terms, not loaded jargon.

I think it is not loaded, because it is by that the pandemic originated from there. If we can call Spanish flu Spanish flu, it should not be any problem to say “China virus”, especially when it is more fitting than in the case of Spanish flu. I think China made an issue about that vainly and too sensitively, especially when everyone told in the beginning of this that it was first found in China and it was not any political statement of insult. China itself makes it and ridiculous issue and embarrasses itself by this kind of over sensitivity. And Xibiden does the same to himself, when he goes along this ridiculous adulation of China.

He only banned that term in government papers, something well within his purview. An employer can fire people for making racist statements on the job. Please note that the ban does not stop someone form going home and using that phrase. In other words people still have the rights to be racists. They simply cannot apply their racism on government time.

I would think that as a Christian you would applaud such an action. Or does your version of God approve of hatred towards others based upon their race?

Ok, thank you for that clarification. I still think it is still not good or reasonable executive order. After all, isn’t racism anyway not accepted. I don’t see why specifically define it to be about certain group and not all people.

Also, I don’t think word “China virus” is in any way racist. It only tells about where it was first found. (I actually don’t even think we have races, it is racism to say we have races). We have many similar words, like "Spanish flu", which is actually more wrong, because it was first found in America. What do you think, is the word “Stockholm syndrome” racism?

Biden's order directed federal agencies “to ensure that official actions, documents, and statements, including those that pertain to the COVID-19 pandemic, do not exhibit or contribute to racism [...] against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.”

What's False
The executive order does not explicitly reference the phrase “China virus.” The so-called “ban” only applies to federal departments and agencies, not personal speech.

I am not sure should I believe that, but Ok, thank you for clarification.

And actually, I think this is why and how free speech should work. If someone says something inaccurate, it should be corrected reasonably by telling how things are with evidence, not by silencing people who may say something wrong. It is sad that world seems to choose the path of silencing.

The Spanish Flu didn't actually start in Spain. So we both know that's not an accurate title.

It's not called "China Virus." It's called COVID-19 or sars-cov2.

But that's exactly what you are doing in regards to Biden's e.o.

The fact of the matter is that Trump's and his staff's constant use of the term "China virus" had caused problems leading to attacks on the Asian community. Matched with his persistent anti-China rhetoric but never any anti-Putin rhetoric, he was clearly using it in a racist manner.

And to show you this is the case, the virus that first came to the States came from a European strain, and yet did Trump & Co ever call it the "European virus"?

BTW, if there's any question about Trump's racist bigotry, maybe read this from these non-partisan sources:

Actually Spanish Flu is problematic because it didn't originate in Spain.
And apparently you missed "China virus" only caught on to the more far-right leaning sources. The rest of world doesn't use the term.

I don’t think that has anything to do with the word “China-virus”. It was commonly in all news that the virus was found first in China and news that are commonly accepted by communists also, told it and it was said more specifically that it originated for some bats that were sold on a market in China.

But, of course, corona viruses have been known from 1930. They have probably existed before that and there has been many versions of them. That we now have developed hysteria about them is the real reason for all stupid actions, not the word “China virus”.

Wikipedia is biased and not good source for anything. It basically serves the communist party of China, similarly as Biden, Facebook and Twitter seems to do also.

I agree with Trump, he is the least racist person in US that I know. I think those claims of him being racist are totally wrong.

I think it is very odd that we still speak of human races. I don’t think there is any good reason to claim that there are races. I think we have only one human race. Calling Jews or “black” people own race is in my opinion racism and wrong and also incredibly stupid

Yes, it is interesting why we call it that, even though it is not correct. But more interesting is, why it is not a problem, but the term “China virus” is? Are Spanish people more civilized than communists, because they are not so offended by small word?

I don’t think neither of them should be a problem. I think only problem is that people try to prevent others to use words they don’t like.

Using word “China virus” is not reason for violence or “racism”. The reason for it is something else. If it would be the reason, there would also be violence against Spanish people, because of the word “Spanish flu”.

And I believe even you would think it is ridiculous, if some would claim that word is reason for violence. Words really are nothing more than symptom/result. They are not really the cause for anything, but, denying free speech, can cause violence.

I think you just demonstrated what one of your problems is, especially after I supplied you with plenty of evidence dealing with Trump's blatant history of racism.

Racism is counter to Jesus' teachings on that all people, being creatures of God, are thus equal. If you cannot even acknowledge what should be obvious with Trump's racism, then all you doing is excusing that which Christ abhors, according to the Gospel.

Is this what your church/denomination teaches is right and proper? I personally know that some of them are, and I left one of them back in my mid-20's.

Sorry, I think there just was not enough reasonable support for the claim to be true.

You seem to be too eager to judge others.

What do you mean with people being equal? I for example am not as fast as world fastest, so, in that part I am not equal with the fastest. Is that a problem? I don’t think so. If I would think it is a problem, I would practice more and not ask others to cut the legs of the faster one.

And sorry, I don’t think Trump’s saying have really anything to do with “race”. But, if you think I am wrong, could you please show more specifically and shortly something that he has said is racist? (Short quote and the source)

I think it is actually “democrats” who are racists, because they are mostly the ones who speak about races and especially because they seem to think not all people are as able. In their opinion for example “black” people are weaker, because they need support from others so that they could have as good life as others. In practice they show that they think “black” people are not as good as “white”, and I think that is pure racism. And I think they are wrong. I think “black” people can be as good and survive as well in western world, if they would want so. I don’t think “race” is the reason for any problems they may have.

In my opinion America was generally less racist earlier (about 1970-2008), because it gave better equal opportunity. Nowadays it seems to be that the real racists want to make life easier for people that they think are not as able as others and in away it is terrible service for them, because not only it makes the other people who don’t have that same assistance, work harder, which makes them better, and it makes the people who get assistance weaker, because the same is not required from them, which is why they don’t have the same opportunity to develop and become better. And this same is with all people, if you always do everything for your child, he doesn’t learn and he will very probably have lot of problems in everything, in future.

If I could decide, all people should be really equal, same things demanded from everyone for same result (unless real physical disability, for example person without legs, should not be demanded to run like person with legs). I think what people nowadays call equality is not really equality.

My asking questions is not "judging". But your blind eye towards racism is quite telling.

What do you mean with people being equal?

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; -- Romans10[12]

I think it is actually “democrats” who are racists, because they are mostly the ones who speak about races and especially because they seem to think not all people are as able.
Speaking about the moral depravity of racism and condemning it is simply not the same as "racism".

In my opinion America was generally less racist earlier (about 1970-2008), because it gave better equal opportunity.
With the election of Obama, I was hoping that "America's original sin" had finally been dealt a fatal blow, but that obviously is not the case.

And it worked. as Asians seem to have become the target of a lot of attacks against them, as of late.

What is your news source?

If you mean what it the goals of “democrats”, it is what I have understood from mainstream media and what it tells about what “democrats” want. But, that is the image I have gotten from the news in relatively long time period, I have not now all the exact sources. But, is it no true, do you think “democrats” don’t try to make it easier for “non white” to get same as “white” people?

One example of what I meant in previous post is for example this:

Assembly Bill 979, authored by Assemblyman Chris Holden (D-Pasadena), would require companies to impose strict minimums on the number of African-American, Hispanic, and Native American board members a company must have. For companies with fewer than 4, then 1 member must come from one of those minority groups. For companies with between 4 and 8 board seats they must have at least 2 minority held seats, with any larger boards than that having at least 3.
Bill Would Force Companies To Give Board Seats To Minority Candidates - California Globe

I think companies should be allowed to hire people that are best for the job and not by that kind of racial ideology. (And sorry, if that source is not good for you, it was the first that I found, but there seems to be also other sources that tell the same).

I think it is very weird, if someone attacks against someone because of that word. And I think it is wrong to accuse Trump for that, because even the mainstream media told first that the virus originated from China. It was not just some source that communists want to silence.

And, if we consider what the mainstream media told, there was good reason to have “anti-China” sentiments, because it at least appeared that China didn’t deal well with the disease that MSM now seems to think is almost like the plague.

But, perhaps China dealt with it loosely, because it is not in their opinion serious disease. And for example, here in Finland, more people died to alcohol last year than to this kung flu. So, maybe there is no reason to be angry to China, even if they dealt with it leisurely.

However, I think attacking is not good in any case. But, I have to wonder, why it is ok to attack against people in Russia, or Syria, or Libya, but not against Chinese. Why attack is ok, when “democrats” do it, but not ok, if other people do so?

Exactly, but Trump's supporters don't give a hoot about Trump's racism and history of verbally attacking anyone whom dares to get in his way.

And it even goes beyond this with Trump's materialism, hedonism, adultery, using prostitutes, appearing in a porn movie, constant lies, calling people names, encouraging supporters to "go wild", and other violations of even many of the most basic Judeo-Christian norms. And yet so many in the "religious right" virtually ignore these-- or even try and defend his atrocities.

It reminds me of what a former priest at our church used to say: "Joe thought he was going to heaven for what he did on Sunday but he went to hell for what he did on Monday". And: "Joe missed going to heaven by only 18 inches-- the distance from his head to his heart.

My point is how is it that so many on the "religious right" simply cannot be bothered to actually admit and condemn what Trump has been repeatedly saying and doing that are the total opposite of what Jesus taught. Maybe they're only "Sunday Christians"?

If people are unique, how can they be equal?
If skin color is the person defining matter, who are they unique?

Do you really think that people should be defined by their skin color? I think it undermines the diverse nature of humanity to pigeonhole them by their skin color.

Human beings are human beings — no matter the color of their skin. But another trait of humanity is its incredible diversity. That diversity has to be honored, if humanity is to be honored. Skin color isn’t “the” defining matter, but it is one defining point that needs to be honored, if for no other reason than that, socially and culturally speaking, the majority sets the “norm.” When we claim “we don’t see color,” what we’re really saying is that “we see everyone just like us.” Which patently goes against what Jesus teaches in Matthew 26.
