It was a phrase -- a metaphore -- coined in a language not your own, which often sound odd in translation (that's why good translators have not only linguistic but cultural knowledge of both languages they're working in). It was meant to imply that women are just as important as men (obviously not a conservative notion, I guess).

So, if Trump used a Hitler quote that had nothing to do with Naziism or Fascism or anti-semitism in a speech, we could safely conclude that it was just a coincidence that he quoted Hitler and that what he said was in no way an endorsement of Hitler's ideas, right?

Of course not, but you're ignoring the point. If Trump quoted Hitler, most liberals would be outraged about it (and justifiably IMO). Quoting someone is a big deal. Even if the quote he used had nothing to do with Naziism, it would implicitly be an endorsement of it, in the same way that Biden quoting a communist dictator is making an implicit statement in favor of communism.
