Does reality increase with the decline of religion and faith, and vice versa?

I find the decline is proving the reality as found in the Bible as accurate.
Religious 'waters' (people) are drying up spiritually before mankind will see divine involvement in mankind's affairs.

What is designated as reality for the purposes of this question? What characterizes its increase?

What is understood to be decline of religion and faith? Number of adherents, perhaps?

To my thinking, Religion and faith are two separate and distinct things, and therefore, cannot go together in the question.
Sorry.

Both, neither, yes, no, depends. "Reality" is a very big phenomena, and so is "religion". Does who's version of reality expand or contract with which version of which religion?

you're suggesting that mental matters are limited to the lack of suffering mankind must experience before loving change will occur?

reality based on psychological growth and recognizing similarity of actions vs differences in form based on language, symbolism, culturalism, or tribalism.

anything that increases a greater idea of community and world view, or religion. or decreases, one's idea of nationalism or diminishes boundaries between self and others as self. defense of one's idea about self are permissable, we allow this in immature, or young people. what we don't do is offend others by projecting ideas of self on to others, that is offensive.

Religion and/or the belief in a religion has absolutely no effect on reality. So I don't understand the question.
Nor does non belief have anything to do with anything as well its Co equally nonsense in particular to the topic God or nature for that matter.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
there are people of good intentions that are religious. while it's fair game to criticize religion itself, I don't think it's fair to undermine anyone personally. it all depends on the goggles you see fit to see reality through. nobody has a monopoly on seeing reality as it is. it's just that religious people see their convictions as evident, even if they are not.

that's the joy of civil discourse, I can accept people as they are though far different than me if they have good intentions. I could rise above , or sink in fury where there is great loss.

it's the good intentions that make reality better. mercy is better than vindication. and I think good people need mercy, or to be merciful at times. nobody is perfect. and that's a whole reality unto itself.
it's not like religion is hard crime. it's completely forgivable if it's in error because there are good intentions people in it.

the knower is obliged to enlighten the unknowing. to make better of things as is free to do so and not by constraint.

then reality might grow grander.

Not necessarily. Sometimes under adverse conditions people become more aware of having a spiritual need, but it doesn't have to be that way. I chose ' loving change ' under good conditions. Choosing to follow Christ for me have proven the words of Matthew 10:22 to be true that one would be hated, and that hatred has caused me adverse conditions in one way or another.

matthew 10:22 and the "name" refers to the All in all and exodus 3:14. the term christian wasn't used until after Jesus' crucifixion at antioch. acts 11:26
a prophet was sent in the "name"

exodus 19:6
you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites."

I believe a lack of imagination means no electricity, no TV no radio, no music, no art. It would be a very dismal world in my opinion.

As for a lack of religion, I believe that leads to unreality.

reminds me of an einstein quote.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” - Einstein
