Why I've begun to fear Trump

he is not likely to slice words to appease the crowd
He doesn't say anything other than his own personal opinions about things that he's heard of. It doesn't bother you that, when questioned on soecifics, he can't back up any of these claims?

can't say he has failed of such
He's failed plenty of times. And most of his "worth" is in his own personal, biased opinion of the worth of his name. If you start with $200,000,000, you don't have to be talented to make a profit.

seems a fair critique.....

still....my little town went down the tubes starting with Reaganomics....
1/4 of the population has moved away.

it's gotten bad enough I don't think anyone can help.....not either party....

I know what Clinton was thinking when he insisted on dealing with China....but ooops

and the health insurance problem is going to make us all sick

and the housing loan fiasco will linger.....it never really had a solution

and during all of this....the top 5% have increased their personal holdings....multiplied by 5

if a billionaire in office fails to help our economics.......oooops again.

I'm tired of actors playing president....
stunned by office assuming the rest of the world will play fair....
stunned again by the cowardice of office in the face of big business....
(anyone heard of Kevin's Law?....you are still at risk)
(anyone really understand what gmo will do to our future food supply?)
(anyone with enough foreign history to see how a separation of class is pending disaster?)

anyone really believe that ANY politician can fix all of this?

I blame the way money flows.
I hope someone will take office and turn the flow my way.

but maybe you guys are right?
and no kind of character CAN fix our economic woes

last lever to pull.....the flush valve....
Oh!.....it looks just like a polling booth!

I fear a Trump presidency because his campaign alone is creating a violent racial, ethical, political and religious divide in this country. And that would only get worse if elected.

I fear Trump because he is a lying moron. 77% of his political statements investigated by PolitiFact have been rated as "Mostly False" or worse. It's a joke.

Put another way, only one statement investigated has been "True".
Let's not forget the Hillary when one talks about (being nice here) misrepresentations .

Oh don't forget her statement about being sniper fire. And why don't we try these on

Hillary Says:
"The Clean Power Plan is something that Sen. Sanders has said he would delay implementing."
You are three times more likely to be able to get a mortgage if you're a white applicant than if you're black or Hispanic, even if you have the same credentials."
"We now have more jobs in solar than we do in oil."
"I am the only candidate on either side who has laid out a specific plan about what I would do to defeat ISIS."
"We now have driven (health care) costs down to the lowest they've been in 50 years."
ISIS is "going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists."
The gun industry is "the only business in America that is wholly protected from any kind of liability."
T[URL='http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/oct/02/hillary-clinton/clinton-campaign-benghazi-probe-congress-longest-i/']he Benghazi probe is "the longest-running congressional investigation ever."

Says Scott Walker rejected legislation to make college loan payments tax deductible and the result was "to raise taxes on students."
"Not one of the 17 GOP candidates has discussed how they'd address the rising cost of college."
Hedge fund managers "pay less in taxes than nurses and truck drivers."
Says "all my grandparents" immigrated to America.
The number of jobs created and people lifted out of poverty during Bill Clinton’s presidency was "a hundred times" what it was under President Ronald Reagan.
McCain "still thinks it's okay when women don't earn equal pay for equal work."
"If you are driving on average in America this summer, you'll save — according to Department of Energy figures — about $70."
"I actually started criticizing the war in Iraq before (Obama) did."
Obama "only wants your children to have health insurance."
Says the difference between her and Barack Obama is "about 35 years of experience."
So that 2005 energy bill was a big step backwards on the path to clean, renewable energy. That's why I voted against it."
It's just outrageous that under President Bush, the National Institutes of Health have been basically decreased in funding."
English "is our national language...if it becomes official, that means in a place like New York City you can't print ballots in any other language."

This isn't a contest to see who is more dishonest. This is a thread about Trump. If you want to bash Hillary, make another thread about it. @Revoltingest and I will join you shortly!
In other words....
Don't fully discuss the issue here.

I don't think it's a good idea to have a plethora of threads dedicated to bashing Trump, without considering the context.
Comparisons with opposing candidates in both parties is appropriate.

Ya know, I asked you this question twice: If he made racist comments about you, made religiously bigoted statements against your religion, and then threatened to punch you, would you still vote for him? Or is just fine for him to do this against others but not against you and yours?...

And twice you didn't answer it-- but actually you did answer it by not answering it. No surprise to me because it's really not hard at all to connect the dots where you're coming from and why.

Well I guess I will answer your questions; However there are times that I wonder why you fail to acknowledged a reply that include facts that disprove one of your statements.

So, the answer to the above question is would I still vote for Trump if he made racist comments about my race or religiously bigoted statements against my religion and threatened to punch me. It all depends on what he said. If a remark was a personal remark to me probably not. If he threatened to punch me? Well it depends. Did I do anything to warrant the assault, if the answer was yes then it is my fault for starting something. If I didn't attack him I seriously doubt he would attack me. So, it all comes down to the circumstances. So, to answer your question is impossible since it would have to be specific actions for me to make a decision to vote for him or not. Let's just say I would vote for him vice the Hillary or Bernie if that was my only choice.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
There's a difference between what a pastor, rabbi, or imam might say versus every congregant who attends services there. One minister at my wife's church was so morally despicable that she almost left it, but then realized that she was more there for the congregation, not the minister. BTW, after her church "unwelcomed" him, information came in that he was a pedophile, and he was defrocked and then prosecuted.

Trump spews hatred all the time, not once in a while-- all the time. If it were just hatred on what some people may say or do or believe, that's one thing, but when it is hatred towards people and groups of people, that's another. And, unfortunately, hatred breeds more hatred, thus polarizing the population. Many of the Republican leadership and congresspeople have even stated as such, and some have said they will not vote for him even if nominated.

Hatred is hatred, so let's not pretend that it's anything but hatred.
That's the banter lately. I know of no one, at least far as I know, where Trump actually hurt someone as a result of the accusations brought about toward him. I'm not saying he is or isn't the type of person that favors one type of group over another. I don't know the man or how he acts behind closed doors. Orginally, I was going with Ben Carson until he backed out. He consequently backed Trump which was a key motivatior with me in supporting him with my vote.

Carson obviously and clearly is a black man and I just can't picture Ben Carson backing a hatemonger if the allegations are actually true enough to warrant Trump as being hostile towards groups of people for nothing other than their physical religious, and cultural characteristics alone.
