What evolutionary advantages of rape in a species are there? I have thought on it some in the past, but would rather not post my opinion on it.

Evolutionary advantages would probably be summarized by getting more babies if you rape more women. Not that it would be moral in any way, though. I'm curious as to what the advantage of the co-evolution of the female and male genders of the species would be with the traits needed to avoid and get away and fight and pin down respectively.
They have observed this in some species of duck I believe.
The evolutionary advantage to females selecting from a number of males for a mate is ensuring a good genetic match and strong offspring. In general, males don't attack females, they fight each other for access to females to mate with. The females look on from the sidelines going "Ooh, look at the antlers on him! I'll have me some of that..."

<yawn> silly goose </yawn>Guys! I'm talking about rape in species like ducks!
But is there not some physical advantages to the skills, speed, and strength needed for the rape co-evolution of male and female as seen in a number of duck species? Why else would they evolve as such otherwise?
Ducks
Seems to me you might find it difficult to prove a charge of rape against these apparently inconsiderate male duck lovers. First we would need to establish several points of crucial evidence, such as: What was the she-duck wearing? Had she been drinking? What was her sexual history? Did she do anything the he-duck might reasonably have perceived as flirtatious? Without a detailed and thorough examination into the character and behavior of the she-duck, it would be impossible to determine whether or not she was "asking for it".

What are the evolutionary advantages of primate species flinging their feces?
Lol. xD
But in all seriousness, the "the victim is on trial" mentality is really, really flawed, disgusting, and sick. I do not advocate or condone rape, I am simply pondering if it has any evolutionary advantages in non-human animals, as some species have evolved around avoiding rape or more successfully raping.
Though I'm pretty sure that the duck in question was forced because the girl ducks try to get away.

We should keep in mind that lesser animals don't possess the capacity for reason or empathy. They don't contemplate cause and effect , they just act upon impulse.
But primates didn't evolve their organs in different ways to more effectively through feces or avoid being hit by thrown feces.
Good link, I'll make sure to read it later when I can.
Some of the more intelligent species feel some form of empathy, but not really ducks.
