Atheism has none of the features usually associated with religion: no beliefs, no doctrine, no worship, no rituals, no doctrine.

The guy is into Atheism bashing in a big way, telling him facts is not going to reduce his gleeful jig because he thinks he has found a loophole just s justify his hatred of atheism
How does this differ from atheist attacks on religion?
That something can look religious and not be religious? Yes.Yes, showing a meeting in a religious space proves your point entirely,,,,,,?
False. Atheism has just one position.Atheism looks like religion,
Not sure how you do that.smells like religion,
That's not even close to the argument.but isn't a religion because that would make it sound like it's associated with God,, yep, got it now
Keep telling yourself that
And not just one religion, many religions? I know I didn't even think it was a religion, but that's the claim being made by religious atheistsView attachment 33858

The book tells how atheists, etc can use aspects of different religious views to enhance their lives. It doesn't tell how atheism is a religion.
Or perhaps the people claiming that atheism involves beliefs, doctrine, worship and rituals should have to demonstrate that atheism has anything to do with those things.Keep telling yourself that

Because some atheists as the OP states do all those things. As atheism would need to be free of the things on your list to not be a religion, it is a religion
In most of the western world the biggest threat to LGBT rights come from the Jordan Peterson and Bill Maher type atheist fans, who are some of the most transphobic out there. And the vast majority of pro-lgbt voters on issues like gay marriage are, in fact, Christians. It became legalized in the majority of the US from majority vote, by majority Christians, before DOMA (a Clinton bill) was struck down.I'm assuming from his hateful, atheophobic bigotry that he is a Christian. The Hindus and Baha'i, for example, don't post like he does. Muslims do at times, but in this forum, they are outnumbered a hundredfold.
Your attacks on atheism are unprovoked. You've simply been taught to hate atheists, and you have passively absorbed that bigotry. The response of people like me, who despise these religions of hatred, is called antitheism, and is justified. It is the idea that organized religion is a bad idea and a net harm to society, and opposition to religion is an appropriate response to an ideology of hatred calling itself a religion of love. Sorry, but all I feel is hatred from people like you..
People don't hate atheists unless they are taught to do so.
I suspect that all Christians are subjected to the hatreds of their Bible, but only the intellectually and morally weakest imbibe it uncritically as you have, and willingly serve as public vectors of this hatred.
Forgive me for celebrating the evaporation of Christianity in the West. It's a hateful ideology. If you don't believe us atheists, ask the LGBT community.
You're angry that we don't need religion or sky pixies. You're angry that we don't respect your religion or your gods. You're angry that we can live without that crutch,So, you feel the need to demean us by calling us religious, which is actually pretty funny when you think about it.
If only I could see where your tongue is in relation to your cheek.Because some atheists as the OP states do all those things. As atheism would need to be free of the things on your list to not be a religion, it is a religion
So, according to this "logic", because some people who don't collect stamps do all these things, and as not collecting stamps would need to be free of the things on this list to not be a religion, not collecting stamps is a religion....
Or perhaps the people claiming that atheism involves beliefs, doctrine, worship and rituals should have to demonstrate that atheism has anything to do with those things.
If only I could see where your tongue is in relation to your cheek.
All that you need is to value your own word and act accordingly.OK, So I needed a thread with classic dictionary atheist comments to go with my Dictionary Atheists post that magically disappeared (God Proven)
Did you just guess?
And not just one religion, many religions? I know I didn't even think it was a religion, but that's the claim being made by religious atheistsView attachment 33858
That isn't what the book is about.
Reading the topic before you post, is always a good move
