And not just one religion, many religions? I know I didn't even think it was a religion, but that's the claim being made by religious atheists

Hmm. You do seem even more how should I say, obsessed with atheists, than even me.

Though I'm obsessed in a different way lol.

Atheists can be religious. Atheism isn't a religion.
And...atheists don't speak for me.
You can find atheists claiming all sorts of crap I don't agree with. And others claiming crap I do.

Heehee.

I honestly think atheists have done much, much more for this world than say, TV pastors.

Meh, atheists are just people. Some are good, some are bad, some are megalomaniacal, some are charming Aussies with winning senses of humour.
TV pastors do appear universally crappy, though, so maybe we clear THAT bar at least.

It was a joke. But in fairness, you don't seem to have too high an opinion of me and my godless brethren.

No far from it, I love religious debates with atheists, well I used to now for some strange reason all most seem to post is **** poor rhetoric and its a fairy tale drive bys

I'm not RF-bashing, but it is pretty difficult to have a good debate at times, and with anyone. I mean, in what I consider the traditional way, of one side presenting a long piece and the other side presenting a long piece and so on. It may apply to some other sites as well. But let's say you do want to have a debate. Oftentimes people can't even agree on the terms of the debate, before the debate starts, so there is no real debate.

I do think I have better success just asking questions though. Easy questions, difficult questions, whatever.

Also, just remember that just because you may reject something, doesn't necessarily mean it's universally invalid. I believe everyone looks through a lens, causing them to occasionally ignore valid stuff.

But RF needs a good bashing, I mean I've lost count of the times I've seen a good post derailed. Sadly I wish I could claim always by atheists but no theists as well

What is the claim and who are the religious atheists making it?

I don't doubt there are religious atheists. Atheism is lack of belief in God, and religion is a system of worship (and not necessarily of god). Many Buddhists are atheists.

I had to Google it myself so I suggest you do the same.

Yep, I know people claiming to be Buddhists that are householders, extremely material wealthy all of which you have to let go of you were a real Buddhist

You get that religion for atheists isn't the same thing as atheism being a religion? I looked at the book you posted an image of and it seems to be about taking the best ideas from religions.

Google what, exactly? Atheism simply isn't a religion, it's disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.
