I initially listed 2.Okay, but what do you consider to be positive, and are those positives "unalloyed?"
I don't attribute the stock market gains (or recent loss) to Trump. For example, I understand that a lot of people think it's great that the stock market is (sorry, was, now) up and unemployment (again was) down. These have changed, of course, due to our newest challenge.
But did those things come at costs that nobody wants to talk about? A tax policy that runs unprecedented deficits -- to be paid for by some who haven't yet had a chance to vote? Did unemployment rise due to tearing down protections that will have negative effects on the environment, which will have to be dealt with (if they can be dealt with) later?
He doesn't have a policy which directly effects that.
Sure, some influence it, eg, the recent assistance bill.
But that's Congress legislating, & Trump signing.
The greater effect of assistance is....assistance, ie,
stabilising the economy & helping everyone.
He does get credit for doing what is obviously necessary.
