Outside of the biblical standard, right and wrong are simply a matter of comparison.Well "harvesting" organs and what not from fetuses could be viewed as a new form of cannibalism already.

Only sociopaths lack the necessary empathy not to understand basic right and wrong.Outside of the biblical standard, right and wrong are simply a matter of comparison.
I find there are a number of people who ignore their conscience and are Not sociopaths.Only sociopaths lack the necessary empathy not to understand basic right and wrong.

Hasn't climate change always been a reality and issue, though?
Isn't it interesting how it is being used now as a political and social tool?

They simply choose to ignore Bible standards and do their own thing.
A hardened conscience does Not necessarily mean hardened to the extreme point of being so calloused like flesh branded by a hot branding iron.
Human triggered climate change hasn't always been a reality and issue, no.
It only started being an issue after a couple decades of humans burning massive amounts of fossil fuels.
It's been known since the 60s - 70s that this is happening.
There's even leaked memo's from inside Exxon as early as the early 70s if I remember correctly - perhaps even sooner. The fact of the matter is that we (humans) have known about this for at least 50 years. Politicians and lobby groups and oil multinationals - the actual people who can actually do something about it - didn't (and still don't) care. All they care about is money and power. Oil gives them money and power. It's also destroying the world.
Is it?
I heavily disagree. If it were a political tool, things would actually happen and change.
Instead, there's some talk and some BS but nothing at all is happening.
CO2 emissions are still rising and there is very little investments going on to turn it around. Or at least, not NEARLY enough is being done.
Draconian measures are necessary. And the longer they wait, the more draconian the measures have to be.
Who is to say that climate change isn't natural and always occurring?
So the planet heats up? Global warming correct?Science.

CO2 is a greenhouse gas.
What do you think will happen if you practically DOUBLE the amount to CO2 in the atmosphere?
What makes you think that anything actually can be done?
So the planet heats up? Global warming correct?
So they shouldn't be sent to hell for doing wrong?Only sociopaths lack the necessary empathy not to understand basic right and wrong.
Yet His truth doesn't hold all life as equal and allows humans to slaughter animals yet He's loving? I'd don't understand that.I agree and it is a pretty horrendous example (s) of what happens when people depart from God's truth.
Only God knows the answer. Most sociopaths aren't completely without empathy either. It's more like spectrum. So they shouldn't be sent to hell for doing wrong?

Did you realize that according to the scriptures, before sin entered the world animals were not slaughtered? From my perspective, it is a sad reality that it is the fault of human sin that animals suffer.Yet His truth doesn't hold all life as equal and allows humans to slaughter animals yet He's loving? I'd don't understand that.
What makes me think something can be done is found in the words of Mark 6:51; Mark 4:39What makes you think that anything actually can be done?
To me it is the ' measure ' of praying for God's kingdom to come (thy kingdom come)Thanks for your thoughts.
I fully agree that money and power appear to be the things most groups and multinational corporations care about.
What measures do you think would be helpful?
I wonder what would happen if ants, mosquitoes, flies and other bugs had everlasting life _____________Yet His truth doesn't hold all life as equal and allows humans to slaughter animals yet He's loving? I'd don't understand that.
