No, he seriously does not. Ray is a bit of a laughingstock when it comes to his videos. They only convince the Kool-Aid drinkers. Most theists can see how poor his claims are.

    :facepalm::eek:

One question, how was God created? Didn't she come from nothing?

What I find exceptionally loathsome about Ray is how he lies. His favorite version of lying is the quote mine. He takes peoples quotes out of context and tries to make points by doing so. By that standard the Bible itself declares that there is no God. For example:

Isaiah 45:14, "...there is no God."

And here is a video to counter that one. It shows how Ray sometimes forgets that he has already released a longer snippet of a conversation:

There is zero evidence intelligence actually exists. There is ample evidence that a tiny region of the brain called higher functioning loves to bull**** itself. The evidence is in the name since its that region of the cranium that created the name for itself. Look at me I am the almighty dipshiat Higher functioning intelligence!!! Personally I think it's a parasite from another planet that invaded a long time ago and it strangles the brain and turns it into a zombie slave to itself. It's a bizarre and horrid dysfunctionism.

There is a very good book by physicist Jonathan Krauss called 'A Universe from Nothing" that shows such a thing is possible.

One common mistake creationists make is thinking that they can use their intuition to figure out the origin of the universe. As anyone who has experience studying advanced physics can tell you, reality often defies intuition, and intuition is *very* untrustworthy.

I am particularly fond of his banana argument. I feel like his comedy was better in that one than this.
Hopefully he'll come up with some funnier material soon, or he should think about leaving comedy altogether, imho.

Some actual evidence would be a good start.

I wouldn't suggest anyone hold their breath waiting for it.

Regardless of his methods or his tactics, (obviously the reason why atheists hate him) answer his honest questions for yourself. Can everything come from nothing?
Can the book of life have no author? Can any book write itself?

I particularly like Dawkins' reaction to the audience laughing at his absurd statements. He is obviously not use to being the object of ridicule but rather the dispenser of it. :D

Comedy, in general, has been taking a nosedive lately.

    I blame Louis C.K's penis.

Proof of said intelligence. Anyone can create their own narrative of how life came to be. Without being able to prove otherwise, one narrative is as good as any other.

Pick whatever story you feel most convinced by. Without proof, to me these are just fanciful imaginings. Just take whatever you believe/accept to be true and weave together a plausible story.

You can hold onto it until something comes along to disprove a portion of it then rewrite the story to fit whatever tidbit of reality science has managed to proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I do have to wonder how many times that last sentence has been used of late...

I personally think he had a good point with the banana. :p It is perfectly designed to be peeled and held in the direction of the mouth for immediate consumption. (when you are hungry, this is important) You really believe that was just an accident? Discarding the banana peel might be a trifle hazardous to pedestrians but it makes excellent fertilizer for the garden. :D "Nature" is applauded for its design and recycling skills.....but what is "nature" exactly? Is it that "something" that came from "nothing", I wonder?

    I don't hate him.
    I find him irrelevant.

Now, Lord Voldemort....there's someone I hate.

Everything need not come from nothing. Maybe something had to come from nothing.

Like the concept of God. Someone had to originate the idea of a God. There had to be a time when man possessed no concept of God. Someone somewhere created a concept of God which did not exist before.

No, reason to hate him. Just accept his lack of comprehension of some concepts.

That's not judging him either. There's a lot of concepts I have difficulty with.

No need to wonder. The modern banana was cultivated by man to achieve it's current shape, size, color, and taste.
