What they seemingly can't understand is that it's people with guns that's the problem, so if they had knives, for example, yes there would be some deaths but not with the numbers we now see here in the States.

It's rather extreme to call regulating trucks "authoritarian".
There are many activities wherein one person's actions
can cause damage so great it can't be compensated,

I think an untrained civilian resistance armed only with civilian market guns should be a last resort, otherwise civilians would be better off avoiding contract with hostiles and let the military handle it. Don't want to draw fire and have your home and family shelled.

I think it would look kind of like the French resistance.

An example is just before Sandy Hook, a man in China barged into an elementary school and stabbed 22 children, and all of them survived. If that had been an AR!5, I do believe the results would have been quite different.

What we are seeing over and over again are some here who are thoroughly mixing in secular right-wing politics with the Gospel, thus recreating Jesus in their own image with what they want to believe.

So do about a million other materials. But ironically, you are protected every day by men with guns. You would most likely not have the freedom you do except for men with guns.
A gun is a tool. It's no more evil than a shovel or knife, which also can be used to kill.

I think something smaller. Maybe a Glock or a revolver.

I've been carrying a gun everyday recently. The only thing I kill with it are raccoons.. it hasn't wandered off and killed anything by itself oddly enough.
