What does the bible and it's followers have against Witches and Witchcraft,I'm looking for real and real convincing reasons?
By the time they got around to killing witches, Christians had long since completed the process of slaughtering European pagans. I think they were just 'cleansing' the final remnants.

In general they consider witchcraft demonic. If you don't believe in demons, that's not terribly convincing, I know.

Why are you interested specifically in what Bible believers have against it?

There were schools for prophets in ancient Palestine.. and MOST prophecy was written after the fact.
Respectful question: How many of those prophets successfully engaged in activities that could be confused with witch-craft?

Christianity believes all that kind of stuff to be demonic and evil, and that it leads to eternity in hell.

It's consorting with demons. You can't even be a witch without a familiar spirit to help you. Even though many witches may not realize that or admit it. They will attribute their abilities to "psychic" powers or whatever. That doesn't change the fact they have a familiar spirit.

I can tell you a lot more if you want. Just ask me questions. Thanks.

Sure some of that took place but the other way around happened as well. You had the vikings for example killing Christians.

First the anglo-saxon tribes invaded Christian Britain and basically committed genocide. Then when the anglo-saxons themselves converted to Christianity their pagan cousins from Denmark sailed over and started burning churches and killing people. So it wasn't just (so called) Christians killing pagans.

There's is 2 real reasons.

1. It's part of tribalism. Tribalism - Wikipedia

2. As far as what the Bible says:

Exodus 22:18

18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

The reasoning is that witches and witchcraft use concoctions (chemistry) and black/white magic to perform healing/cleansing/(percieved) supernatural acts. By doing this not in the Lords name this is viewed as trying to circumvent the Lord. So that's why in reality.

Admittedly I am a bad Christian. I met a witch once, instead of killing her we dated got engaged, and spent many years together. We are no longer together, but we are still very good.friends. I just spoke with her on FB messenger last night.

Personally I don't care. I feel like Jesus's message of loving each other, and loving your "enemies" to be more powerful and of more importance than ancient tribalist prejudice.

Christians killed tens of thousands of witches in Europe over a period of several hundred years.
Please find for me in the NT where they were authorized to do that.

Unlike most, who use empty labels, I do not consider anyone who murders a Christian.

The burning times. A frenzy of witch-hunts took place during this time in Europe, mostly in German-speaking parts, with an estimated 60,000 people put to death. In mainland Europe and Scotland they burned them, with the peak period between 1580 and 1662 often referred to as The Burning Times.

Malleus Maleficarum - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malleus_Maleficarum

The Malleus Maleficarum, usually translated as the Hammer of Witches, is the best known and the most thorough treatise on witchcraft. It was written by the discredited Catholic clergyman Heinrich Kramer and first published in the German city of Speyer in 1487. It endorses extermination of witches and for this purpose develops a detailed legal and theological theory. It was a bestseller, second only to the Bible in terms of sales for almost 200 years. It has been described as the compendium of li.....

Interesting, as a Knights Templar, a Christian organization, always has been, always will, I find it interesting that you have chosen one of our Knights as your avatar.

You state you don't follow the Bible, so I think you ought to rethink your avatar, because it is an emblem of those who did, and do now.

Your avatar is very common in Templar circles.

I am sure there are depictions of English Knights available, who were not Templars. Just say'n.
The Knights Templar practiced Arabian Magic, worshiped a severed head, and discovered truths leading to the demise of all three Abrahamic faiths.

That is total bull. I can give you a reading list that disproves this.
This is part of the smear campaign initiated by the French King to justify his murder of them.
The prison in which they were held and tortured in, then killed still stands.
So too the graffiti that the knights carved into the walls, hundreds of them.
No severed heads, no Arabian magical signs.
Crosses, Crucifixes, short prayers to God, and a few depictions of the tree of life.
