  • Oh my! What'd I do this time? :D

I am doing really well and hope you are, too.
About to start my practicum work for graduation.

    One is an Alternative school.
The other is a drop in centre for people with mental health issues.

Pretty excited to finally get my heart and now my head working for the good and not just sitting in classes.

Spiritually... I've felt very whole lately. Whole.... but not complete :flower2:

The Guru Granth Sahib is not arranged according to chapters, it's arranged according to raag (musical tune). It is referenced by page only. So 3 of 1430 is the correct reference for the shabad you quoted. :) You can abbreviate a Gurbani reference like this, for example: SGGS Ang 3.
It's saddening as well as perplexing. It's almost as if people are so insecure in their faith (whatever it is, be it Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity) that they need to run down someone else's belief; or rather, take a "it's my way or the wrong way" attitude. Most religions are syncretic at their ancient roots, and they evolve. That happens because those syncretized elements are compatible.

"I am assuming A ; is 'not' .....so not 'japa' as in the sence of mantra chanting"

correct , Ajaapa jaap means " Chanting without chant ":p , it means chant becomes automatic , 24*7 day n night with every breathe .

    :namaste: :flower:
