  • Thanks for the frubal :) Glad you like that comment.
Hum..."We will call our own murti icons, while your 'statue' is idol. But, essentially for both arati is offered." lol
Hehe. You might as well make a thread about it. But yeah, Lord Shri Krishna was a ladies man, hehe! :D :D
Sorry i have not responded to your message yet, ratikala mataji. waiting for friday to catch up to much!
Thanks. I don't like it when verses are cherry-picked to make a point, especially when they're misused. It's especially fun when the person gets called out on it. :D I'll cherry-pick my philosophies and beliefs, but not scriptural verses when I know someone is going to catch it. ;)
Thanks for the frubal! I wondered how long I was gonna stay with 117 frubals, given that the number's in my name and all. :D
Haha, yeah :D A good way to view it, and I think quite accurate; though many can never progress from the child stage. :)
Haha, yeah :D Some people want to feel special though, instead of realizing that it's the same Source. :D
Seeing your quote from Kṛṣṇa: ''I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.''

    Immediately reminded me of this:

" everything is Me, the All-Creating Sovereign, mind of perfect purity ... I am the cause of all things. I am the stem of all things. I am the ground of all things. I am the root of all things ... There is no other Buddha besides Me, the All-Creating One." - Samantabhadra, Kulayarāja Tantra

Same person? I think so. ;)
The signature is actually from a Hadith (tradition) from the collection of Thirmidi which is considered authentic by majority of Muslims. I think the same message is reflected in the following verses of the Holy Quran.

"Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious; for your Lord knows best who have strayed from His Path, and who are truly guided."
    Quran 16:125

Apologies for posting scripture on your page..just wanted to point out that the Quran also carries the same essential message.

    Cheers
Thank you. It's been like a year of retreat to learn new things and buff the skills I already had.
Learned a lot about myself and was really able to bring spirituality easily into the teachings.
Feel renewed and ready. Will keep you abreast on things from time to time.
Ought to have more time now that I'm not locked inside doing homework and papers in the evening.

    What's new in your life?
