What does God want from you?

Oh my, did I say that!

OK. God creates the universe and God creates you. What does God want from you?

If you are an atheist, speculate. If God really exists and creates the universe and God creates you. What does God want from you?

Before you just give a quick answer, consider a Being capable of creating the universe and you has to be very very smart. Consider High Intellect with your answers. Make God's answer High Intellect.
Why would God want anything from us? Surely God being omni-everything, as many suggest, would know what to expect from His creation. And I think we have to factor in the timescale for all this to happen - and the various stages that human existence has evolved through alone - so as to question this very high intellect. Could God not have done all this much quicker and without so much waste? o_O

Nothing but if a god should exist i would want a lot of very searching answers from it.

I tend to believe that the gift of life is given unconditionally.
Right, no guarantees of life. Which explains why a mother of three will develop breast cancer and die. No unconditional love by God. Just the lottery of life as if no gods exist.

I don't think this god would "want" anything from me. I doubt this god would "want" in any sense that resembles how humans understand that term. That's the case even with many of the gods I worship much less the Abrahamic god who is a highly abstracted and numinous sort of god-concept.

Well if God created you with cancer he wants you to suffer through medical treatment, and perhaps a painful death. As an atheist I have exceptional health.
If you are an atheist, speculate.
Theists speculate too. It’s not as if they any gods exist, even if they are so bold as to claim such a thing.
If God really exists and creates the universe and God creates you. What does God want from you?
How can anyone have an answer?

Well we also have to consider reality, like diseases, mental health problems, genetic defects, and so on. God causes all that yoo. Why? Sociopath?

What God wants from you (us) is found in the words at Genesis 1:28.
Jesus came so that we can discover or rediscover God's purpose that He wants us (majority) to live forever here on Earth.
A beautiful paradisical Earth as Eden originally was - Isaiah chapter 35
And as Jesus said that humble meek people will inherit the Earth at Matthew 5:5 from Psalm 37:9-11,29; Psalm 22:26.

Satan did Not only challenge the man Job (Job 2:4-5) but by way of extension Satan challenges all of us.
'Touch our flesh..... ' ( loose physical health ) and we would Not serve God.
Both Job and Jesus under adverse conditions proved Satan a liar and so can we.
There was No sickness in Eden and Jesus will come to bring ' healing ' to earth's nations according to Rev. 22:2
From the loss of a healthy paradisical Eden to the return of paradise on Earth as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.

Do whatever I want.
Believe whatever I want.
Be happy.
Return home when I want or stay out in this universe to experience as much of it as I can.

God would want to meet loveable people that try to find a way of living that is sustainable and enjoyable. If there's a God that entity hasn't mastered creation by a longshot. God would be a student of the reality that he/she it is bound by.

Not all books are fiction such as an autobiography.
You referenced the Bible. But it's a fact that books are material, so not sure what the controversy is.
Also, since the Bible is Not in ABC order one can't fully understand if read as one were reading a novel.
Apparently no one can really understand it. At best it is historians who offer the best explanation for the taxts and them being written.
There is a hauntingly dangerous religious climate brewing in today's world.
Religion has always caused dangerous climates. Nothing new.
An anti-religious atmosphere in feelings and actions, and religion involved in world affairs causes or draws attention to herself.
Oh, you mean when world governments back in the 18th century realized secular governments were more stable than theocracies?
She thinks she sits as some sort of ' religious queen ' that will never see sorrow or mourning.
Anthropomorphism. This doesn't realy work as a claim.
With backing the United Nations can be strengthened to become God's arm of the law to go up against corrupted religion.
So global war. Not a very good idea to use one religion to persecute others. Or do you approve of the UN eliminating all religions that are not Muslim? Is this what you mean?

Well this doesn't work to get God off the hook since God created Satan. So no matter what God knew what he was doing, and is accountable for all he does.
'Touch our flesh..... ' ( loose physical health ) and we would Not serve God.
Not sure what this means.

You are referring to characters in stories, not facts.
There was No sickness in Eden and Jesus will come to bring ' healing ' to earth's nations according to Rev. 22:2
And God ruined it all. His design, his responsibility.
From the loss of a healthy paradisical Eden to the return of paradise on Earth as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.
Sounds like a pipe dream, and there is no clear meaning to any of this. It was likely a way for the religious authority to motivate the masses to work harder because they will have it easier eventually.

Nonsense. I know God better than you do.

Well I didn’t choose to be an atheist. It’s the natural default. There’s no way I can choose to be religious.

More and more people are rejecting religion, so it is working.
Yes, religion is working very well. Religion is a catalyst that brings so many people's problems to the surface so they can be dealt with.

Natural default?? You do have a free choice. Forget labels. Discover what is.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Think of the damage you could cause if you were president.

"What is" is not any of the things you post. You don't seem to realize this. "What is" is that you have views that are not factual.
