I don't know. It sounds surreal to even think it. Do you mean he'd come from the sky and throw fire to consume the earth (honestly asking?)

I think unbridled capitalism is destroying the world by fire. Energy consumption. God must be taking this all in somewhere!
Humanity needs to find other purposes for living then to constantly use up the earth's resources.
We desperately need clean energy. And a more slower pace to life.
Spiritual wisdom is not in great supply yet it's exactly the thing humans are starving from.

FYI, the bible verse you linked doesn’t mention fire...
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”
First of all, that Scripture - Revelation 11:18 - says that God will ‘destroy those that destroy the Earth.’
Not the planet Earth, itself.

Nope! The earth is not going to be destroyed, just all physical life forms that remain on the planet after the thousand year Sabbath has ended.
