Everybody whines in New York. Makes you wonder who the real whiners are?
Trump, or people whining about Trump?
Everybody however doesn't have Trump Tower to show what happens when you put your mind to something.
Trump gets things done. Trump as President gets things done.
If he's a lying cheating whiner, then he's a lying cheating whiner who gets things done and does everything to accomplish what he says he will accomplish.
We have irreconcilable differences in how we evaluate a president.
You want him to be a parental figure...someone you respect for
personal traits. To you, he's an "absolute failure" solely because
he's awful, ie, you hate him instead of love him. And from your
perspective, you're absolutely correct.
I don't care about him as a person or even a president. I evaluate
his performance by what he has actually effected, which is a mixed
bag, not an absolute failure a couple years into office.
Some positives.....
- Unlike Dubya, he's started no useless wars.
- His 2 USSC justice appointments have been good.
- His income tax reform greatly curbed subsidies for mansions,
& made depreciation of assets more reasonable.
- The First Step Act.
If all you want is to love your leader, my criteria won't matter to you.
You'll just continue to rail against him with histrionic epithets.
That's OK. We just want different things.
We are all individuals.
Let no one anguish over what others think
of us due to actions of someone else.
I don't separate him from his character.
The only delusion is that there was none.
Which has been destroyed by the redacted Mueller report.
Your point, far as I can figure it out, is that you are too attached to a fantasy that happens to have Trump as a trigger.

I just think people ought to toughen up a little more. It's less detrimental to have some teflon skin. Otherwise this reactive and sensitive culture at present will continue to degrade and go nuts more than it has already.

Trump has always whined to the press.. and courted the press whether print media or television for over 30 years.
He is also big on taking credit for the work of others.

Trump kept losing his shirt when he was building "towers".. He didn't stop going bankrupt until he started selling his name to one project after another. His tax break on Trump Tower in NYC runs out soon.. Watch how fast it falls into disrepair.. His residents are going to take a bath.

But the entire world identifies YOU with him. And they identify ME with him. And he is supposed to represent ALL of US. And he is supposed to represent the strength, and honor, and IDEALS of our nation.
