With just 10 days before he finishes his first year as president, Trump has made 2,001 false or misleading claims in 355 days, according to our database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks every suspect statement uttered by the president. That’s an average of more than 5.6 claims a day.

What's going on with Donald Trump? Psychologist explains the president’s lies, reversals

Trump's lies and reversals are not due to mental illness but because he reacts to people and situations in the moment, with no thought of future or past.

Late last year, 27 prominent mental health professionals were so concerned about Trump’s odd and sometimes belligerent behavior that they contributed chapters to an unprecedented book called, "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump." Their deep concern, they said, justified setting aside an important ethical standard of the mental health professions — the one that forbids mental health professionals from diagnosing public figures they’ve never actually evaluated.

Trump lies. And lies. And lies.

When the history of the Trump era is written, this quotation from our president will play a prominent role in explaining the distemper of our moment and the dysfunction of his administration. Trump was talking about media coverage of his trade war, but he was also describing his genuinely novel approach to governing: He believes that reality itself can be denied and that big lies can sow enough confusion to keep the truth from taking hold.

Trumps Lies T r u m p ’ s L i e s Many Americans have become accustomed to President Trump’s lies. But as regular as they have become, the country should not allow itself to become numb to them. So we have catalogued nearly every outright lie he has told publicly since taking the oath of office. Updated: The president is still lying, so we've added to this list, taking it through Nov. 11, and provided links to the facts in each case.

Report: Trump lying twice as much as last year

CNN Tonight (Video)

Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale has tracked President Trump's lies since the start of his presidency and says the lies are escalating.

Now what does this all mean--?

Do we, citizens of the United States want as our representatives to other countries to be mirrors of ourselves or some staged actor reading the script word for wood; playing the part for self serving reasons---?

To it’s bitter end-?

playing the scene to its END.

Is this what I see--?

I hope this brings in some discussion –

1. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
2. Thou shalt not kill. (murder)
3. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
4. Thou shalt not steal.
5. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

:)-

Believe me, it is not an honor being a liar
May God Be With You

As an outsider watching on I shake my head and wonder if it's all one big joke and one day every American will yell at the one time... "GOTCHA! He was never elected". Not that our Aussie politicians are any better.

Someone once said: You can fool some of the people some of the time, and Trump followers all of the time. (Or something like that)

So, even though he may not be fit, don’t expect any changes.

That would fall under competency.
Results are about what happens in the world as the result of one's actions.
Competence is a personal trait.
Trumps record (so far) is easily better than Dubya's
just because of the lack of new wars. Of course,
he's also lucky by not having faced the same events.

Hard to argue with producing what was promised...
Or doing some good, & not screwing the pooch.

There are irreconcilable differences between 2 opposing camps....
1) Those who look at results of acts rather than at the President personally.
2) Those who evaluate the President personally, & are less concerned with
results, eg, military, USSC justice appointments, taxation, regulation, foreign
relations.

#1 will hate him because he's an awful person.
They'll see him in the worst terms, with no redeeming traits.
#2 will see a mixed record, ie, some good, some bad.

#1 & #2 will never agree because they're looking at different pictures.

Trump was never fit to be president.

Edit: ...because he's insane. We shouldn't have to push to so far as to give a reason, but that we do, this is the reason.

I personally don't like every decision Trump has made, but to indicate that he's insane is simply rubbish. The fit argument is ridiculous as well, he won the election and whether he was fit or not stop crying over the spilt milk -- it's obvious that a majority of the population represented by the electoral college disagrees with you. I understand that being salty about Trump is en vogue with the owning pubic hair less than ten years crowd -- but, that crap is played out.

P. S. - What job is like being a President? Like, at all... This is the most ridiculous line of thinking -- it's such a unique and demanding job literally nothing prepares you for being in the oval office other than ACTUALLY BEING in the oval office. Oh yeah, the U.S.A. is still here, Trump didn't destroy it, so... I guess we'll be fine. :D

The job that is closest to being this President is King or Queen.

Not really worried about what Australians think. Your country isn't a big player so yeah, nobody cares.

Not really... Besides, what King or Queen are you talking about? :D

The Queen of England? That's basically a honorary position at this point, as is the case with most countries. Really, the only really kings that exist are in the Arab world at this point. So, let's compare with them...

Is Trump:

1) Beheading people for crimes or subjecting them to torture or disfigurement for crimes against his crown?

2) Owning all the land within the countries borders? You realize that no one actually owns land in a kingdom besides the king, right? You just get to rent it.

3) Emboldened with absolutely unchecked power? (The President has powers, but those powers are decided by Congress and ruled on/interpreted by the Supreme Court.)

Yeah, there is nothing about the President's power that is anything like a king. The argument is foolish.

Still better than the traitorous socialist Democrats trying to destroy this country.

So yes. Trump is miles better and already has proven his effectiveness as president of the United States.

~~~~~~~~Trump’s Republican Party~~~~~~~~
Let this be a warning in spades, Trump is dragging your party through the pig farm slug pit. Please hold your nose, don’t breathe or open your eyes because you be in the disgusted land of ooze.
If you don’t save your party from this pathological liar (a mental illness)
you will not only lose what integrity you have but every seat in Congress.
Trump is single handedly destroying the republican Party
Trump has told more lies in his first year in office than all the previous Presidents put together
& Trump is a Republicon too !!
