ps. her actions in seeking media and now paypal donations show that she is clearly seeking to make money off this. I doubt that she didn't plan on it from the start.

From what I understand.Once the doctors realized 7(thats all they knew about) were in there they strongly advised her to abort some(Im not sure how many).She refused.Now yoou can say ..well look they all survived..but no one will know until later how affected they will be.Apparently a premi born weighing less than 3.1 lbs.is at 20X the risk of developing cerebral palsey.All eight were under that amount.

Well O.K ..if they eventually started recieving "charity and donations"..thats a little different if you ask me than a single mother going out and paying for embryos to be implanted and collecting food stamps and mooching off her parents.Especially the fact she has special needs children that need extra care and will forever.Also ..the Duggers aren't looking to "family and friends" adn the "church" to help with the hands on rearing of their children.They do "employ" the older ones to help with the younger ones.But that is common in big families.

They dont live off the "high horse" from what I can tell.

You may think they are a little nutty.But I dont see their family situation as a financial "burden" on the rest of society .

O.K thats it then..thats why I believe that she wasn't "planning" on 8.Especially since her previous invitros with the same # of embryos resulted only in one set of twins and 4 single births.

I will say..In the wedding vows of the son who just got married?That they promised to let God determine how many children they would have.

It was kind of "sweet" though.The first time either one of them kissed was after the "I do's"..they were actign like they couldnt wait to get out of there.

Just wait..they will have a baby in 9 months..and he will start complaining how she wont give him enough sex anymore!!! And she will complain that all he ever thinks about is sex and cant get "enough" LOL!!!

If anyone deserves money for this it's the grandmother.
She is the primary caregiver for the kids and her daughter contributes next to nothing despite the money she makes. (which goes into making more babies).

I read that the grandparents bought the house that she is currently living in for her, and then encountered financial difficulties causing them to lose their own house and have to move in with her, where grandma now serves as care provider. Sounds like forcing one's own parents into indentured servitude to me.

I know.I can't imagine if I just "decided" that I wanted more children.And "decided" that my mother was going to help me raise them and support them financially.Or if one of my children did that to me.That puts the grandmother in a very tough spot.She obvioulsy loves all her grandbabies.But its completely unfair to expect her to have to keep on raising broods of children for the rest of her life.Volunteering to help out with your grandchildren is one thing.But being "assigned" to a huge portion of the responsibilty for 14 children that your child CHOSE to have knowing they couldnt do it alone is blanket usery and taking advantage of the grandmothers emotions and love of those children.

The nutty thing about this is that as responsible, mature adults, my wife and I are limiting the number of children according to how we are able to support them.

That my tax money goes to support the offspring of selfish ignorant wretches who have what I don't due to their negligent stupidity makes me a victim of my own humane nature.

I can't even wrap my mind around the idea of the responsibility of having one kid. I know I want to have kids some day, and maybe even within the next two or three years, but dang. That's a lot of work.

I mean, I've got a dog. I love him to death and we play and go for walks every day and he gets fed and needs to be pet and told he's a good boy and I go and buy food and dog brushes and look online for the best ways to train him and which toys are the most indestructable, and on and on. That's just for the dog. A kid would be like 1000 times that, because you can't just stick the kid in a doggie crate when you want to go out for dinner and you just can't tell the kid to go lie down when you want to read your book and tune him out for a bit.

So this woman gets to have all her "Angels" because children are such a blessing to her in her life and ME and MY husband can help pay for it????When Im sitting here right now without any health inusrance myself?

Im watching that woman cost MILLIONS in tax payers dollars including mine going on about how "God" blessed her with all those cherubs makes my stomach turn.

I my opinion I don't think that it was ethical to have all the embryos implanted and I have to say I do not believe in abortion because it is murder but I don't think it was right for her to have all those kids with no real way to take care of them. Its like she is a kid hoarder she just can't have enough but 14 ? That is way to many children to have. And how does this woman plan on raising these 14 children ? From my tax dollars and my hard work. I don't think thats right.

And I forgot to add with that many children I would have aborted at least a few of the fetuses when they all took. But that is just me. And with 6 other children under that age of 7 I wouldn't even be thinking about having anymore more.
