Why are Christians against the bible? My sisters have told me Jesus is God and I have to believe and express myself talking about Jesus as God.
When I say there are many tittles for Jesus ,they say the bible says to confess with your mouth Jesus is God.
A bunch of Christians have said that to me. This is the exact scripture they are referring to which says I have to tell them Jesus is God as if they were investigating me.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus...

SECRETS OF SPIRITUAL HAPPINESS: Read the book online - Sharon Kumuda Janis
Hard 2 pick out one section -
Ultimately, happiness is elusive due to misguided ideas about what happiness truly is, and how it can be nurtured. After all, how many of us have really contemplated what happiness is? We put so much time and effort - first into years of schoolwork, and then into toiling long hours for...

What is the importance of religious beliefs? Are they crucial or necessary to salvation, enlightenment (satori, etc), or spiritual development? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would argue that all beliefs (and conscious thought in general) are to reality more or less what a map is to its terrain. That is, a belief is not the reality it refers to, but rather what a map is to the reality or terrain it refers to. e.g. If I say that I believe Jesus Christ is my savior, that does not...
I have noticed that faith based creationists here often take recourse to the inability of evolution to account for the origin of first life when all other arguments fail. Thus I thought it would be good to start a thread on the science of abiogenesis to complement all the evolution threads that have been going on .
First point I will note. It takes a lot to get to a well established scientific theory. The Theory of Evolution is near the pinnacle of what it means to be an established science...
1. Why are there translation errors from the 1769 edition of the KJV of the Bible found in the Book of Mormon?
2. Why are the italicized words from the KJV of the Bible (words the translators added themselves, and so noted by italics) also found in the Book of Mormon?
3. Why do verses in the Book of Mormon that follow the Bible repeat what was in the KJV of the Bible rather than Joseph Smith's inspired version of the Bible?
This came from Christianity in General closed today 2016-12-03 by Brickjectivity. He suggested to put it in Same Faith Debates or Religious Debates. Here is my answer to Neo Deist:
Many people are confused about the deity of Jesus Christ even though they are in Christianity DIR. Revelation 19:10 states: "for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." And God's coming had been prophesied about 700 years before in Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6.
