Why according to Quran, Allah gave power to prophets to perform miracles?
If your answer is, because Allah wanted to give the prophets proofs and evidences of Prophethood, then:
1. How did virgin birth of Jesus serve as a proof, when no body was even able to verify that David was not Jesus father? Remember, there was no DNA test.
2. Even Islamic sources confirm that Jesus resurrected dead people. But when people asked Muhammad to resurrect their fathers, He rejected to do this. How fair is that of God, that He proved Jesus by giving Him power to resurrect, but He did not allow this miracle to be performed by Muhammad?
3. Now for Christian's or atheists, if you say Muhammad was a false prophet, why would He present Jesus as a Messiah who was born from virgin, and had power to resurrect. Would not these, make Jesus even superior than Himself?
