God does not meet the criteria or definition for life, neither in science or philosophy.

What Is Life? | Issue 101 | Philosophy Now

So what is it then that makes God alive?

God cannot speak talk reproduce or interact in any direct tangible way, it's hopelessly locked away in people's minds to where a person needs to act as a proxy on behalf of God. In another word, playing entirely as the voice, hand, and ears of God.

So what is the demonstrable quality attributable to God alone, as being alive, communicable, and Interactive when the definition of life does not apply?

    Gospel of Thomas
    50) Jesus said: If they say to you: Whence have you come?, say to them: We have come from the light, the place where the light came into being of itself. It [established itself], and it revealed itself in their image. If they say to you: Who are you?, say: We are his sons, and we are the elect of the living Father. If they ask you: What is the sign of your Father in you?, say to them: It is movement and rest.

As God does not 'exist' there are no attributes which can be ascribed that would make any sense to us at all.

Yes I agree, but I was asking why people maintain God is alive, given the fact that God is completely incapable of doing anything that would give a person any reason to think so. Especially when it's counterintuitive with the definition of life.

I think that the problem is that many Abrahamic theists reduce God to a knowable, living, created, being. Now even if you take Genesis, nowhere is it stated that God made himself; which is what he would have had to do, in order to be like any other living being.

God does exist but God is a mystery, far above anything that can either be recounted or perceived by humans. Human beings are finite creatures so we cannot understand a God that is infinite:

“Exalted, immeasurably exalted, art Thou above the strivings of mortal man to unravel Thy mystery, to describe Thy glory, or even to hint at the nature of Thine Essence. For whatever such strivings may accomplish, they never can hope to transcend the limitations imposed upon Thy creatures, inasmuch as these efforts are actuated by Thy decree, and are begotten of Thine invention. The loftiest sentiments which the holiest of saints can express in praise of Thee, and the deepest wisdom which the most learned of men can utter in their attempts to comprehend Thy nature, all revolve around that Center Which is wholly subjected to Thy sovereignty, Which adoreth Thy Beauty, and is propelled through the movement of Thy Pen.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 3-4

Unless, when you said sense to United States at all. Then you would: stating GOD can`t predict the future and US or us would only apply to the people speaking Hebrew at the time instead of English letters?

God must be an intelligent natural eternal force bound by nature. A very significant life force that creates life everywhere. It is constantly learning and adapting. It is omnipresent, and ethereal. Its essence is information. The physical reality puts severe limits on god and life .

Existence is in a learning process, life is consequential. And perhaps there are totally different forms of intelligences existing in nature.

Either that or it's a total blind chance fluke that life exists; and that is extremely too improbable to me that somehow mindless forces would arrange themselves to form life.

Life doesn't have a physical cause to it, there is no physical structure and arrangement that causes life. It has it's own existential essence.

Thank you! Quite frankly I'm not sure how to describe GOD. God could mean endless things for all I know. God is indescribable to me. God is also different meanings to different people.

Look around you. The facts play itself out.

No God has ever said or done anything whatsoever. It's people who make God "alive". If humans were silent, so would God, if humans make noise, then God makes "noise", if people do things, then God "does" things.

The hand of God only "moves" when people do things in God's name giving God "substance". God cannot do anything otherwise because he's for all intents and purposes, a mental puppet with strings with people acting out the voice, hands, ears, and eyes.

God is factually not alive, and it's interesting why people think so since puppets do not make the definition of life. The strange thing is people make it out to be otherwise hence my question what makes God alive.

No matter what anybody says or does, whether it be you, your pastor, other clergy, lay, whomever, no matter how hard you try, plead, or persist, the hard fact is God will never, ever be actually "alive" without your help.

God simply does not meet the definition of independent automatity that is conducive with life aside from humans giving God "life" themselves, and touting that God is alive.

Actually, it is the reverse. God gave humans life.

God also meets the definition of independent existence:

“And now concerning thy reference to the existence of two Gods. Beware, beware, lest thou be led to join partners with the Lord, thy God. He is, and hath from everlasting been, one and alone, without peer or equal, eternal in the past, eternal in the future, detached from all things, ever-abiding, unchangeable, and self-subsisting.” Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 192

Your viewpoints are usually so far from mine that I don't comment much on them, however, in this, you might want an opinion on your question.
When Jesus told us that if people didn't speak up about him, the stones would cry out about it, some little secret slipped out.
Luke 19:40 But in reply he said: “I tell YOU, If these remained silent, the stones would cry out.”
The fact is that all things are part of God. In this sense, animism has a certain application. Since all things were created by God's essence, he is in direct contact with everything. This is why he knows the thoughts of everyone and what they shall say and do before they do this. At the moment, he is permitting evil to exist, but this shall be curtailed and done away with soon.

So, what makes God alive. The question is beyond our ability to speculate about, as is the very nature of God. All we can do is go with what has been revealed and realize that going against his express wishes is a 100% death sentence. Just as we wash our dishes after use, he shall clean away all that he considers filth.

All that exists is or was created, subjected to causes and conditions. Is God created or subjected to cause and condition?
