Who are the other two most eloquent atheist speakers?

Shia Islam

Quran and Ahlul-Bayt a.s.

As I expect many to claim Richard Dawkins to be the most eloquent atheist speaker. Or I may be wrong :D

So let us put it this way:

Who are the three most eloquent atheist speakers in your opinion?

The first 2 who come to mind are dead. They are Richard Feynman & Carl Sagan.
I'll have to give some thought to living ones. Dawkins, is a sharp guy, but eloquent? Nah...not to me.

OK, to narrow it down to only 2 is impossible for me, so I'll just pick the 1st 2 whose works I've enjoyed.
Noam Chomsky
Penn Jillette

Note that "elloquence" is in the ear of the beholder.

Bertrand Russel and Carl Sagan.

Both dead now unfortunately, we could use them lately.

I agree.

Dawkins is intelligent and prepared but I don`t find him eloquent.

I dont like the notions of 'the most', 'the best', 'your favorite', etc. but here are three atheists or at least nontheists (that will have to do) that are interesting to listen to. they are all now deceased.

Carl Sagan:

Michel Foucault, in this video, debating another atheist thinker, Chomsky which is the first to speak:

And to lighten things up, Douglas Adams:

Douglas Adams is way up on my short list too, along with:
Woody Allen
Noel Coward
Stephen Fry
Ian McKellan
George Carlin
Ricky Gervais
Clarence Darrow
Were I not so ignorant, I'm sure the list would be far longer.

6 posts in and nobody mentioned Christopher Hitchens?

I'm not even an atheist, and I'd imagine he'd be in someone's top 5.

You might think about Hitchens, because of his contemporary work, and its pretty obvious he is going to be listed, but people such as Foucault have been some of the most influential intellectuals of the 20th century.

Clarence Darrow is an interesting entry.

I have to say I don't find Hitchens eloquent unless it's specifically the "forceful" part of the definition, but I do often find his writings to be hilarious even though I emphatically disagree with his politics.
Top two "most eloquent" is too hard to narrow down, but I did immediately think of Corliss Lamont (mainly due to his writing though) and Paul Kurtz.

Some of my favorites (in no particular order):
Fidel Castro
George Carlin
Pat Condell
Allah (Clarence 13X)
Karl Marx

May I ask, why did you pick Fidel Castro? :sarcastic

When it comes to prominent atheist in Latin America (or the Cuban Revolution I guess), I would rather say Che Guevara, but that's just me I guess.

I really do like Carl Sagan, but my favorite atheists are comedians. I can listen to Hitchens, Dawkins, and Michael Shermer at times but I get bored when they usually just use the same material. My favorite atheist(i think) comedians are Dave Allen, Eddie Izzard, and George Carlin.
