On the contrary.

For someone on the side that claims to believe in democracy, it is you who are being desperate.
It is now nearly 3-years since the vote and facts have emerged. There is no £350m for the NHS; Turkey and Albania are not joining the EU; Trade deals are NOT easy, etc, etc.
The People change their minds (Otherwise we would always have the same Government) - so as a believer in democracy why do you fear The People's Vote. If the 'will of the people' is the leave, then you must be very confident that you will easily win.

Let’s honour the last vote before we contemplate having another.

What caused the need for Brexit, was when Obama destabilized the middle east, resulting in millions of asylum and job seekers storming Europe. This created unplanned stresses in many EU countries, who then found themselves unable to control the fate of their own nations, due to EU rules.

The EU made sense up to the mass migration. It was originally composed of first world countries organizing into a large capitalist cooperative of states. The mass migration of third world population, created huge pockets that averaged second world in first world countries. This gave everyone look at a future that was not in the best interests of the host countries; regress backwards in time.

The main problem with Brexit is too many politicians made deals that benefited themselves and their donors, via the EU charter. They personally, would be sheltered from the chaos of decline. Brexit would take way their deals and their guarantees since it voided the charter. The self serving politicians and donors need to undermine Brexit to get their deals back.

One solution is a modified EU charter that allows individual countries more control during times of emergency and instability. The idea is to go slower in terms of the real long term vision of a first-to-second-to-third world decline toward a socialist empire, run by the political overlords, who sold out each country.

The EU supporters will not allow Brexit a chance, since the people will see this is a better deal for the people, but not for the politicians and donors. The same is happening in the US, where the Democrats and establishment Republicans resist all the Trump changes that makes the old guard look incompetent and self serving.

If all the doom and gloom of Brexit was real, wouldn't the best political strategy be to let it happen so when hey fall on their faces, this never happens again? The real fear is this will work. It has to be undermined with fantasy propaganda of doom and gloom. The left wing of America is running the same smoke screen. My advice is give Brexit a chance, so we can do a reality check. Then a new EU can form that is minus the con artists; new deal that is transparent and does not give politicians any advantages over its citizens.

When the government forced David Davis to resign and appointed Dominic Raab as his replacement, they probably thought he would be a yes man.

When they found out, he had principles he had to go as well.

I thought he was wrong to accept the position but when he realised that they wanted him as a fall guy and resigned he proved me wrong.

Going by Davis' resignation letter, he sure does not seem to have been forced out of government.

Brexit secretary David Davis resigns plunging government into crisis

Generally speaking, you seem to have a lot of very specific expectations about the nature and boundaries of whatever mandate the UK politicians were given by the mid-2016 referendum.

Clearly, so do many other of the most passionate Leavers. And they too find themselves frustrated and denied by the very clear fact that not everyone sees things their way.

Again, that too suggests that a second referendum is called for.

What happened has given him a much higher profile and I like what he says.

That did not work too well when it was Boris Johnson enjoying his newly found visibility, did it?

I am just not seeing the benefit to all this stubborn attitude and presumption of righteousness.

That is incredibly destructive and pointless to even propose.

Surely you are aware of how deeply divided mostly everyone is even inside both the Tory and Labour parties.

To even suggest that such a reality should be glossed over only shows how afraid you are of the public opinion having turned against Brexit.

To be fair, you seem to have very good reason to expect such a change of opinion. But that still makes your stance illegitimate.

Why exactly do you think that you ever had a chance of living in a world where other countries and communities did not exist or would be inconsequential?

Hopefully you will never attain a voted position. Or vote for any.

This inconsequence towards real problems and real people is very disgusting.

We all have opinions and we have expectations that when a vote is offered to the people and the people accept that offer in good faith it must not be withdrawn instead of being honoured.

We sure do.

That does not explain how come there are people who oppose the much needed second referendum.

Good faith, the opposition to it does not show.

Given the opportunity, would you vote for this?

Not as it currently stands; there are a lot of good things but some awful things too. Article 13 is problematic.
Artists/Authors deserve fair remuneration for their product.; it has always amazed me that a brand new album can be available on YouTube the day after its release. Now I understand that there is an agreement for advert revenue shares with artist, so that sort of addresses the issue.
BUT it does seem to favour the big corporations.
I think there is an element of Europe putting pressure on Google/Amazon/Facebook/etc. because they do not pay fair taxes in Europe but it is missing its target.

The free speech aspect is of the most concern. We do not want to end up like China.

I thought the BBC would find it very difficult to replace David Dimbleby but they have succeeded by appointing Fiona Bruce.

She certainly gives the impression that she is impartial so far.

Brexit will do the UK no good at all, I hope they will have another referendum, which might have a different outcome as people realise how damaging exiting the EU will be for us Brits.

If, as one of the options is, we extend Article 50 we could end up having to hold EU elections. Hilarious, you couldn't script it.

Sir James Dyson is moving his company HQ to Singapore. It transpires that it will mean only two executives relocating from the UK – the company will continue to employ 3000 workers at its research and development centre in Wiltshire.

Manifestoes are meaningless in this Remoan obsessed country.

Wages are now outstripping inflation! So much for project Brexit calamity!

Now Brexit-supporting MP Daniel Kawczynski is undermining the sovereignty of Parliament by encouraging Poland to veto any extension to Article 50 that Westminster might request.

"Any attempts by Remainer MPs to delay or obstruct #Brexit must be opposed. Today I have formally asked Polish Government to veto any motions by EU to allow extension of Article 50. We are leaving 11pm on March 29th as promised"

Daniel Kawczynski on Twitter

Let's see how our resident Quitlers spin this one

@Altfish, what's the bet this too is something Remainers are somehow to blame for?
