As always, the problem with statistics lies in theThe trick done by the antigun people is not to count an event unless shots are fired. Most cases of using a handgun for self defense do not get to that point. Merely drawing the gun is enough to deter an attack.
Ohio, like Michigan, allows for open carry without license or permit.I think Ohio is another state unless that has changed.
You do know there are much easier and cheaper ways to make a "ghost gun" than with a 3d printer, right? And since now all one needs is a 3D printer to make a gun with no traceable serial #..........
Source please. So when the cops stop a drunk driver, they can take his car keys away from him, and his driver's license, but not his gun. It's GENUIS!
Vermont has allowed it for a long time.To the best of my knowledge no state allows concealed carry with out either a license or permit.
See there.Vermont has allowed it for a long time.
Vermont Concealed Carry Permit Information
But since they're a northern state full of
hippies, anti-gunners haven't complained.
But Texans...northerners despise them.
I find learning painful.See there.
I learnt sumpin today!
It is most exhausting....I find learning painful.
Avoid it.

So far as I can tell, this whole "ghost gun" hype is just that, hype to stir up the ignorant into a fear induced support of worthless legislation that does nothing more than give empty feel good feelings that something is being done about guns.Yes I am aware of that, either way there's no possibility to trace, that's the whole point, I think.
Sure, but almost no one there actually does it. Because it would be stupid. Whereas in Texas, the fantasy of shooting the bad guy is extremely powerful. Sacred, even. So they take their guns everywhere they go, in the hope that some bad guy will someday 'cross 'em', and they can gun 'im down like the dirty dog that he is!You could pick on Vermont too.
It has long not required a license for concealed carry.
Idaho has had open carry without license and conceled carry without license for many years (open carry longer) and see no negative impact.Texas Gets Ready To Allow Unlicensed Carrying Of Handguns
Sorry, for picking on TX again @Wild Fox .
This can't end well, at all, if it passes. Which it appears it will...
Because that only means it went from one a year, to four?Ever wonder why we are never given the raw numbers when reports pop up "Ghost Gun use up 400%"?
Do you ever offer evidence, or just personal imaginings?Sure, but almost no one there actually does it. Because it would be stupid.
Please explain why you think unlicensed carry wil make it easier to obtain a firearm. Still have to go through a background check to purchase a firearm. It makes it much easier for dangerous criminals to get guns.
But it's Idaho. No one lives there BUT crazed militarists. To ban guns in Idaho would be like declaring the whole state a clothing free zone.Idaho has had open carry without license and conceled carry without license for many years (open carry longer) and see no negative impact.
I offer it exactly as often as you listen to it.Do you ever offer evidence, or just personal imaginings?
Don't know about other States but Idaho has open carry for many years and a concealed carry withoug a permit for a couple of years.I am interested in that there is nothing mentioned about concealed carry.
Several states allow open carry but require a permit or license to conceal carry.
I am most curious if Texas will be the first state to not require a permit or license for all forms of carrying a firearm.
This seems a cryptic way to avoid justifying a claim.I offer it exactly as often as you listen to it.
