Although I am intrigued by the subject matter of your book, I'm hesitant to even request a free opportunity to read it for the following reason.
  • I think it's safe to assume that Gematria did not originate with you. I base my assumption solely on what Wikipedia says about its history.
  • Because your book addresses some portion of the Hebrew text of Genesis and, I gather, the appropriate Gematriaic (is that the correct word?) system for that text, AND
  • Because I have reason to believe that there are, living today, one or more Jewish "specialists" (read: IMHO, "authorities") who might critique your work, I'd be interested in reading how your book fares after having been critiqued by a Jewish specialist.
  • Absent such a critique of your book, I am reluctant to take advantage of your offer. Thanks, though.

Gematria is supposedly the story within the Story. The very alphabet of the Hebrew is said to hold more symbolic meaning than just a plain textual device in which to right things down. For example: Aleph is leader, Beta is house, Gimel is walks, Dalet is house, Hey is man. So according the gematria Aleph, Beta, , Gimel, Dalet and Hey is telling a sequential story such as God (leader) walks (Gimel) in the house (Dalet) of man (Hey)

Not exactly, but I shall let you read the book and not nitpick.

No problem Terry. Many people make their decision on whether to read a book or not based on its reviews. I have reason to believe that an authoritative review or two will be forthcoming for the book, and I hope you will put it on your reading list following that.

So creative reinterpretation. And I am betting that cherry picking plays a huge roll too.

I think I have answered enough people who feel entitled to criticize my work sight unseen, and some of you have been real jerks btw. Nevertheless I have answered your question and doubts and cynicism and all my answers are above for other readers. From this point on, I will only answer intelligent questions from those who have actually read the book.

For everyone who does download the book, I hope you find the book useful and educational. I'd appreciate your reviews, and I am sure other readers would too. Thank you and God bless.

What goes around comes around. The fact is that every book like yours has failed abysmally. Why do you think that yours is any different? You need a bit more than "because I said so". If you like I can link sources that explain how various "Bible code" works failed.

No I am reading it, it will take a little time. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but I am still holding the Samaritan criticism of gematria to be true

Hello my friends,

You may have seen me haunting these hallowed electronic hallways, to bend the ear of anyone who will listen saying "pssssssst..... have you heard about the real gematria?" :)

Well, in-between hanging out here I managed to write a book, and next week I'm launching The Genesis Wheel upon the world*. But this week RF has kindly allowed me to permission (thank you!) to invite you to pick up a free advance review copy until the 1st August. Basically, you can pick up a free book for yourself in the expectation that you'll leave a review** (even just a few lines would be helpful):

Click this link to download your free book.

I hear you ask, "Why should I read it?" And since you asked me to pitch you, here goes;

The Genesis Wheel is an exploratory romp around the biblical world of number and meaning. It breaks new ground in biblical research to introduce a startling new paradigm that debunks the documentary hypothesis. It presents evidence that the creation story of Genesis was founded upon an alphabetic framework.

From the burning bush to the ascent of Elijah to heaven, there is gematria behind all the miracles and weird happenings in the bible. Not just any type of gematria, but one that was kept a closely guarded secret by ancient Jewish sages to Occult and Freemasonic societies alike. The creation story of Genesis is densely packed with beautiful and elegant gematria at every line, and The Genesis Wheel blows the lid off generations of concealment to finally reveal the truth. The Bible is not the book that everyone thought it was, and although it is one of the oldest and most popular books in the world, it is not even a book that has been thoroughly studied yet.

And if you like the book and you fancy reading it again on your kindle or purchasing a paperback you can pick it up at Amazon by clicking this link.

* Exclusively with Amazon.
** I'll send you a one time email in a couple of weeks to remind you, but if you don't have time to leave a review or you forget - don't worry about it. It's not obligatory. Maybe you could just mention the book to a couple of friend of yours over coffee instead? That would be cool. Please feel free to give them the link. :)

Thank you for reading this and feel free to ask questions and leave comments.

Best,
Bethsheba Ashe.

Have fun. I know there are those that enjoy seeing if there is anything to this. It is hard to leave biases behind. The method is highly subject to confirmation bias, there will be "hits" the problem is that there were be countless "misses" as well. If one could use the same method by picking and choosing what one wants to read that goes contrary to the Bible it is clearly refuted.

Don't worry. The same critical methods I apply to the Bible I am going to apply to this.

Hopefully your book will get you a spot on George Noory Coast to Coast. ;0)

Is this just a literary work or are you going to produce an audio version as well?

Either way best of luck on your endeavors. Being an author is exciting on an individual level no doubt.

I do enjoy unconventional subjects, even if I don't personally abscribe to any of it.
