That makes no sense. If the UN were afraid of the USA, they wouldn't be sanctioning Israel.
Thats true. So that means when sanctioning Israel the U.N should typically be afraid of the U.S.A but are not.

I reckon the Taliban are a bunch of religious fascists, and I feel sorry for the Afghan people.
Which means that we cannot say that the UN refuses to sanction Saudi Arabia because it is afraid of the US.Thats true. So that means when sanctioning Israel the U.N should typically be afraid of the U.S.A but are not.

IMHO the UN is antisemitic. But that's another topic for another time.Well, with your logic, what you say is true. Which means you have to explore why they are not sanctioning the KSA and why they are doing that to Israel which you had already admitted is "the UN is afraid of the US when considering Israel".
Who were trained by those who call themselves "democratic" to be.
Who trained the Taliban then?
IMHO the UN is antisemitic. But that's another topic for another time.
I think the UN is a conglomerate of competing factions, some of which are pro-Israeli, some neutral, and some anti-semitic.IMHO the UN is antisemitic. But that's another topic for another time.
The Taliban was trained by their piers who were trained by the foundation of the so called anti fascist movement of the time, vis a vis, the United States primarily.
Weren't the original members educated in madrassas in Pakistan?
No, I mean the reason that they are anti-Israel is because they are anti-semitic.You mean anti Israel. Say it plainly. There is no need to use famously used apologetic phrases.
You mean the Taliban? No. Not necessarily in Pakistan. Just because Taliban means seekers of knowledge that does not mean they were necessarily educated in Pakistan. But it is true that some of them, including the famous Mullah Umar was educated predominantly in a Pakistani school close to the Afghan region.
No, I mean the reason that they are anti-Israel is because they are anti-semitic.
Someone who has legitimate concerns about Israel would still apply the same standard to other nations. That is not what the UN does.
So when were they "trained" by the US?
I said no such thing. I stated a fact, that the UN was not afraid of the US. I did not say that the UN should be afraid of the US.But you did say that the UN should typically be afraid of the U.S in approaching Israel, said in other words.

You have not quoted me correctly. The word I used was would, which is predictive, not should, which is a value statement. Here is the actual quote:Nah. What you said was that "If the UN was afraid of the US, then they should not be sanctioning Israel" indicating they should be. Also indicating something is going on between the U.S and Israel.
No worries mate. Just leave it.
This quote simply makes a cause effect link, and noting that the effect is not true, concludes that therefore the cause is not true. IOW, I'm simply stating that since Israel IS being sanctioned, that therefore the UN is not afraid of the US, since the US has repeatedly fought against these sanctions. That makes no sense. If the UN were afraid of the USA, they wouldn't be sanctioning Israel.
