What's the difference?

The habit of govt controlling whatever you privately own, what you can say, what you can eat, what you can do , what you must buy. Particularly the nanny state and the unconstitutional mandate which fortunately was removed.

My FB group has been discussing how socialism has been appearing and eroding the U.S., the stolen election being a prime example. Also the push for "universal healthcare". Of course, it's no coincidence that countries that have it are also repressive regimes. You can't be a free country with "free" medical coverage, as that is stealing from the tax payer. I was thinking about this and it made me realize how much socialist parasitism has been sitting right under our noses in America. Take fire departments, for example. Why should my tax dollars be used to put out someone else's house fire? It's not my fault that they were irresponsible. They should pay the fire department themselves (or there should be a form of insurance like medical) and if they can't afford it then a lost home is the consequence of being lazy. Maybe that's why fire trucks are the color red. When the land returns to the patriots privatizing the fire departments should be on the agenda.

If you take a look at the election statistics, communist parties have not exceeded a level of 0.5% electoral support since 1920 in the UK. Communist Parties have not had electoral support exceeding 0.1% in the USA since 1976 (which was a “high point” for the far left due to people’s disillusionment with watergate and Vietnam).

And remove young people under the age of, say, 25 from the rate of communist support- and even those numbers will crash.

I know this because I am the exception, being a communist whose hit his early 30’s with over a decade experience in the far left. This is eye-wateringly embarrassing low levels of support and any recent increase is a drop in the ocean of public hostility, apathy and ignorance.

To give you a comparison, flat earth belief polls around 1-3% in the UK and the USA.

So You’re freedoms are safe dude. Relax. There isn’t going to be a revolution in America or Britain anytime soon.

Commies like me can only jealously covet the immense credibility, popularity and resources of the flat earth society. They have songs about how NASA lied to everyone you know? They’re kinda catchy too!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to being laughed at by the people in tin foil hats and in straight jackets some more...

Exactly. No drug laws any more! Legalizing marijuana isn't freedom. Legalize all drugs, no more oppression.

If I go maybe once every 2 years but you or someone in your family goes once every 2 months, why should ours premium costs be the same? I think you should pay higher premiums than me.

Because when you often go twice in one week and very typically at least 2 or 3 times a month, those out of pocket expenses (including premiums) will drain you dry.

I live in the UK where we have a National Health Service.
And the UK is not a bad place to live.
But if some extreme Christians want to leave sick folks to die, hey ho.... a lovely advert for your faith!

And sometimes renouncing our faith, going apostate, and blaspheming the Holy Ghost are exactly what's needed.

Yes. Fair is fair. Eat right. Exercise. Man up. You won't need the doctor so often.

Do keep in mind that men are more likely to die from a terminal illness because they delay going to the doctor until it's too late.

Unfortunately we haven't reached the ideal due to the prevalence of godlessness, which has bred dependency and weakness.

Is that why these Red Christian states are net takers of federal dollars while we godless blue Californians are net givers?

Well, I started at the far right, then I moved to the far left and then I learned to combine elements from the left and right and now I am a Social Democrat. Go figure.
