Socialism under our nose.

Where is this libertarian utopia that has no public roads, no public services, no publicly funded healthcare? Where has this idyllic vision for humanity actually been put into practice and worked?

Unfortunately we haven't reached the ideal due to the prevalence of godlessness, which has bred dependency and weakness.

My FB group has been discussing how socialism has been appearing and eroding the U.S., the stolen election being a prime example. Also the push for "universal healthcare". Of course, it's no coincidence that countries that have it are also repressive regimes. You can't be a free country with "free" medical coverage, as that is stealing from the tax payer. I was thinking about this and it made me realize how much socialist parasitism has been sitting right under our noses in America. Take fire departments, for example. Why should my tax dollars be used to put out someone else's house fire? It's not my fault that they were irresponsible. They should pay the fire department themselves (or there should be a form of insurance like medical) and if they can't afford it then a lost home is the consequence of being lazy. Maybe that's why fire trucks are the color red. When the land returns to the patriots privatizing the fire departments should be on the agenda.

If this a serious post?
I don't want to comment further without knowing that.

So if you or someone in your family goes to the Dr 10x more than me, should your premiums be 10x higher than mine?

Wealth inequality would appear to be an issue in many parts of the world, and the US more than most.
Yet people remain keen to champion policies that unduly increase this, simply because that is the 'team' they're on, and they're convinced that unfettered human behaviour will result in good outcomes.

Yes. Fair is fair. Eat right. Exercise. Man up. You won't need the doctor so often.

The advice is good (eat right, exercise and m...well...let's say toughen up). But there are people who need medical assistance despite all this.
Cancer patients aren't all victims of their own behaviour, as a very simplistic example.

Or those born with a condition, obvious at birth or one that comes later due to genetics.

So the answer is that it has never been done. It is as pie-in-the-sky and disconnected from reality as anything Marx ever dreamed up.

Thank you.

It's more than that - it's a hypothetical society that enshrines psychopathy to such a degree that it could never actually be society at all. A social species like humans attempting this level of antisocial behavior would straight up drive itself into extinction. Which, frankly, is what it would deserve if it is stupid enough to actually attempt to follow such nonsensical ideas en masse, so... fair is fair?

I forgot to mention faith, which is a primary factor regarding ones well being. Sometimes it's a visit to the church rather than to the doctor that's needed.

Also, some history for the ignorant: History of firefighting

Basically, if you are OK with your neighbor's house burning down because they couldn't pay, you are OK with your house and your entire damn city burning down too. Because that's basically what happened before fire departments were a public service. Who'd have thunk?
So fire spreads like disease, thus we would've all died of disease without universal healthcare. Be we haven't.

And Sweden, Germany, France, U.K., Canada, Netherlands, Israel, etc.
The West didn't learn the lesson of the U.S.S.R
and its fall. Willing to trade liberty for peanuts.

What's the difference? It's all theft. Public schools are all propaganda and indoctrination anyway. Your tax money is being used to teach the lies of evolution and global warming. Thank the Lord I was home schooled.
Socialism is everywhere and getting stronger every day. Every lie from the extremist authoritarian lying right strengthens socialism. Every demand that government stop helping people strengthens socialism. The worship of trump strengthens socialism.
