Profession of faith.....

Tranquil Servant

Was M.I.A for a while
Matthew 1:21-23
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua, [which means ‘ADONAI saves,’] because he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All this happened in order to fulfill what ADONAI had said through the prophet,
“The virgin will conceive and bear a son, 23 and they will call him ‘Immanu El.” [a]
(The name means, “God is with us.”)

THE LORD YESHUA IS THE MESSIAH, MY SAVIOUR AND MY GOD.
......saying it loud and proud:D

I love you people and all people.

I dream of a day when our children can live in a world where they are judged by the content of their character, and not by the color of their skin or their religion.

am I in the right place? :)

Matthew 7:1-3
7*“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2*For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3*“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
;)

Romans 10:8-10
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I believe with all my heart. :heart:

Jesus Christ is my God whom I serve. God the Father, and Son have made a home in me, so that makes me a temple of God.
(John 14: 23) “Anyone who loves me will keep my word and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him.”

(John 14:21) “Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them will be one who loves me; and anybody who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and show myself to him.”

i am a little church (no great cathedral)
far from the splendor and squalor of hurrying cities
-i do not worry if briefer days grow briefest,
i am not sorry when sun and rain make april

my life is the life of the reaper and the sower;
my prayers are prayers of earth's own clumsily striving
(finding and losing and laughing and crying) children
whose any sadness or joy is my grief or my gladness

around me surges a miracle of unceasing
birth and glory and death and resurrection:
over my sleeping self float flaming symbols
of hope,and i wake to a perfect patience of mountains

i am a little church (far from the frantic
world with its rapture and anguish) at peace with nature
-i do not worry if longer nights grow longest;
i am not sorry when silence becomes singing

winter by spring,i lift my diminutive spire to
merciful Him Whose only now is forever:
standing erect in the deathless truth of His presence
(welcoming humbly His light and proudly His darkness)
- by e.e. cummings

Jesus is my lord and savior.

Back to the Basics!
I can do no better than paste the battle hymn of the Reformation.

A mighty Fortress is our God,
A Bulwark never failing;
Our Helper He amid the flood
Of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe
Doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great,
And, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.
2
Did we in our own strength confide,
Our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side,
The Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth His Name,
From age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.
3
And though this world, with devils filled,
Should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed
His truth to triumph through us:
The Prince of Darkness grim,
We tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure,
For lo! his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.
4
That word above all earthly powers,
No thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
Through Him who with us sideth:
Let goods and kindred go,
This mortal life also;
The body they may kill:
God’s truth abideth still,
His Kingdom is forever.

Just wanted to get a thread where we can profess the one thing (hopefully) that all of us Christians from various backrounds can agree on:

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

Write it out.... let each letter be a symphony of salvation.... try to post on this thread as often as you can.... daily if you'd like.... and may the love of the Lord bless us all.

Peace in Christ,
Scott

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior!
