Them ol' believers have such a habit of
    believing completely different things.
As in whatever they choose to allege
    that the bible says.

Guess your allegation of what it all means
just happens to be the right one.

    I’ve noticed that “facts” change.

We like it when someone admits that no facts, data,
evidence whatever would ever change their minds.

That stance is, after all, what intellectual dishonesty
    is all about.

It is impossible to be a creationist who is well informed
and intellectually honest. Best not to try.

We'd hate to have you explode in a red mist, trying.

It is, after all, so unseemly. :D Ya'll take care now,
and steer clear of them naughty ol' facts.

BIBLE "facts" change according to who is
    doing the infallible readin'.

Facts, as they exist in science, do not.

That's the beauty of truth. If you are wrong then I'm not an ape. If I'm wrong your total destruction is inevitable. If you suggest by contrast that one of us is incapable of making up our own mind then I'm not going to argue with the fault in your position.

However historical events which occurred long after the prophecies were spoken and written are something to scratch your head into.

I have yet to hear a prophecy from any religion that wasn't either so vague that it could mean virtually anything or was simply no different than an accurate prediction. What prophecies do you imagine don't fall into either of those two categories?

How I long to live in a world full of people who hold exactly your sentiment! Show me, and I can be convinced. Claim "authority," and I won't give a rat's tiny hiney.

Most of those "science facts" were never scientific facts. There were examples of bad applications of science. For example the penny dropping from the Empire State building killing someone. That would only happen if there was no atmosphere. And if there was no atmosphere falling pennies would be the least of our concerns.

Jesus said it, at that point we are in agreement.
Let us see the whole context and raise Rev 3:21 and show the verse from the 14th

Revelation 3:14-21 New International Version (NIV)
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Now how would one be victorious?
As the Lord Jesus was victorious?
Is it to embark in a conquest and invade everybody?
    No.
The Bible answers how to be victorious.

1 John 5:1-4 New International Version (NIV)
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

This is a separate thought from Rev 6:2 - the first seal.

Revelation 6:2 New International Version (NIV)
I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

    This was fulfilled in History:

In 380 CE, the emperor Theodosius issued the Edict of Thessalonica, which made Christianity, specifically Nicene Christianity, the official religion of the Roman Empire. Most other Christian sects were deemed heretical, lost their legal status, and had their properties confiscated by the Roman state.

When was the prophecy written? before 100 AD
When was the prophecy fulfilled? 380 CE
What represented the white horse? Nicene Christianity
What represented the bow? the Edict of Thessalonica, under the penalty of death or confiscation
What represented the crown? emperor Theodosius
How are we sure that "and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest." pertains to this part of history?
Please watch the video how Nicene Christianity spread

The scientific discovery of 2014 about a vast water reservior that could cover the earth's surface 3x over is just amazing.

But tell you what, even if man did not discover that 4-5 years ago, I still believe in that Noah and the flood.

First of all, there's no such thing as infallible readin'. Not of the Bible, not of a science book, not of core samples, pottery shards, fossil records, etc. If man can think it he can mess it up.

Secondly, it's easy to say that facts, as they exist in science, are not facts any more after they've been messed up. The only thing wrong with that process is that they never should have been called facts in the first place. For example, a science minded atheist will say that it's a fact that the flood never took place and they have no way of ascertaining the factual basis of that beyond what they currently are able to guess at.

Just like I can't say that the flood is a fact.

That mat be so, but the reality is that so-called scientific facts do often change as further information is discovered. Just look at all the changes in the fields of health and medicine alone.
