Think about it......There was no heavenly hope offered to pre-Christian servants of God.
I believe it is you who needs to think, "independently" yourself!
Matthew 8:10-12 (ESV Strong's) When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith. 11 I tell you, many will come from east and west and
recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Hebrews 11:13-16 (ESV Strong's) 13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having
acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16
But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God,
for he has prepared for them a city.
I think it ludicrous that witnesses believe that Abraham, Isaac, Noah, Moses and all the other men and women God used have no heavenly hope, but the 7 men sitting in New York does.
The picture is clear when the waters are not muddied by Christendom's errors.
Revelation 20:4-6:
"I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years." (NIV)
And who was given the authority to judge? Not the 7 men that you worship!
Matthew 19:28 (ESV Strong's) 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also
sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Will you or any of the 7 men you worship, worship the beast or take it's mark? Will you be beheaded for the testimony "ABOUT JESUS"? Probably not, because your testimony is about God's personal name, no Trinity, no hell.
