All available indications seem to suggest that what used to be the Republican Party is defunct, that it is now just another subsidiary of the Trump organization. The few Republicans who stood for what they believed to be right have been purged, or resigned. The rest, the majority -- even the ones some of us felt could be trusted to know what is right (Mitt Romney) -- have caved, bowed, groveled. They are subservient -- it isn't a party any more, it's a group of sycophantic worshippers of a single individual. (Those last 3 sentences are my opinion, but that's what this poll is about, so you'll understand when I vote "NO.")
So, is the party of Lincoln now dead? Or is democracy in the United States dead? I think it must be one or the other.
