You're the one who keeps taking that slippery slope. That's you projecting.
I almost died due to my shots when I was young as I was allergic to something used in the shot. A fact the doctors had zero clue about because they didn't bother to check beforehand. Now I have medical exemption after the fact.
Nothing happened to the doctors
Are there any other situations in which this is required/authorized? Maybe prescribed-meds to patients in government-run health facilities? Prisoners in government-run prisons, maybe?
I also don't think it is fair to put responsibility for the activity of a virus squarely on the person who communicated it without further analysis of the situation. Does anyone really want us to get to a point where someone can be sued for contracting and spreading a virus unintentionally?
One place I can think of where this happens all the time is in classrooms. Should I hold the school responsible if my kid gets sick?
How about in hospitals? Can I sue the hospital if a trip to the emergency room exposes me to illness and I get sick as a result?
Should I be able to sue over the activity of a virus which is outside of human control, let alone even awareness?
Doctors only know what they are told by the medical establishment, which in turn are controlled by the pharmaceutical industry, who fund the medical schools. Governments are dictated to by those with power and money....follow the money trail....ask what the anti-vaxers have to gain by sounding this warning and exposing the greed behind this whole vaccination business.
Are Vaccines Safe? Exposing the Dangers of Vaccines - Dangers of Vaccines
This was 7 years ago...there are even more now. What are we doing to our children? Its time to stop responding to this issue emotionally and start looking at who is profiting from this.
.
Last night, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill putting a stop to religious exemptions for required vaccinations.
Too many people had been using religious excuses to get their children out of getting their shots, and it was creating a public health crisis, especially in Orthodox Jewish communities.
This bill, A.2371, closed that loophole for good.
It’s the right move for the entire state. The only people who shouldn’t be required to get vaccines are people who have medical reasons for it. To use God as an excuse, putting the public’s health in jeopardy, is wildly irresponsible. The government needed to take action, and the Democratically controlled state did just that.“The science is crystal clear: Vaccines are safe, effective and the best way to keep our children safe. This administration has taken aggressive action to contain the measles outbreak, but given its scale, additional steps are needed to end this public health crisis,” Governor Cuomo said. “While I understand and respect freedom of religion, our first job is to protect the public health and by signing this measure into law, we will help prevent further transmissions and stop this outbreak right in its tracks.”
Science won out over religion, and public health won out over a faith-based death wish.

That is great news. Vaccines are one of the safest and most effective means to combat a large number of communicable diseases. Anything that prevents large pools of unvaccinated people from spreading easily controlled, but dangerous illness is a good thing..

Of course! The First Amendment right to infect other people! You will never learn until it's too late. You're setting precedent for people to lose their rights in the future. Congrats!
Of course! The First Amendment right to infect other people!
Excellent point!
Like I said, your constitutional right to infect others. Worth fighting for, right? My body my choice?
Not anymore!
Congrats!
The argument is those that get the inoculations won't be at risk. Just those that don't will be a risk with each other.Yes, people further lose the right to put others at risk. Your right to swing your arm stops at the other person's face.
Like I said, your constitutional right to infect others. Worth fighting for, right?
(And much more interesting than your right just to infect yourself.)
So nonsensical... it hurts.
The law does not force one to vaccinate one's kids. They only have to so if they wish to attend public schools. In other words, children that can spread those diseases will not be allowed in schools. Schools become a contagion some if the kids are not vaccinated.I don't care what him or anyone thinks about it.
Creating new laws that forces people to accept medicine or treatment against their will is Orwellian to say the least.
Not that any of you care, you're too busy gloating to realize you just drove a nail in your own coffins.
No, there is no such controversy. You might as well say that there is a controversy that the Earth is flat. There is also a controversy that there may be a link between vaccinations and autism.

I granted you a funny, because you "seem" to fully agreeScience won out over religion, and public health won out over a faith-based death wish.

This may not really be the case but since autism is on the rise parents may be concerned why

I'm not an anti-vacciner.
I just think it's a huge mistake to force people to do it against their will.
