So what hobbies would be good for people who like to exercise their intellect? Add to the list?

  • Chess
  • Religion - Theology - Philosophy
  • Models - boats, cars, planes etc.
  • Role play games e.g. Dungeons and Dragons
  • Electronics
  • Programming languages e.g. Java.

Any more?

I would disagree with the majority of those.

Perhaps Chess, Theology, Philosophy and Learning Languages. But the rest of them do not seem fitting.

How about Reading? Or Learning an Instrument?

YOU FORGOT CROSSWORD PUZZLES.

*evil frowny face*

And other word games. :D

That reminds me, the stacks upon stacks of logic puzzle books my mother has. All kinds of puzzle books actually, but the logic puzzle ones always seem to be her favorites. :p

It would be great if I could burn calories whilst doing it (the hobbie that is), but I can't think of anything...

What's wrong with throwing a book in front of you while on a treadmill? Two birds, one stone.
