So 2 billion people actually believe Jesus will return and rule with a new earth? Hmm. Seems to me there's a hidden meaning. What say you?

Metaphorical to what?I don't think there's any hidden meaning or other motive for them. Much of these two billion genuinely believe it to be true. Of course there are likely tens of millions just going along with the ride running through the motions. Some may take it all in as just metaphorical.
I got an idea but I'm interested in other opinions. What kind of hidden meaning do you think there is?
I know I am more interested in learning about your idea and what could be any possible "hidden meaning".I got an idea but I'm interested in other opinions.

Could it mean what I believe which is existence rises and falls with the birth and death of a man?I know I am more interested in learning about your idea and what could be any possible "hidden meaning".
I say inferring a "hidden meaning" is more than a bit curious. So 2 billion people actually believe Jesus will return and rule with a new earth? Hmm. Seams to me there might be a hidden meaning. What say you?

Interpreting the symbolism of Revelation is something else but I don't take anything as hidden as such.I say inferring a "hidden meaning" is more than a bit curious.

Straight forward?Seems straight forward to me.
If there is a hidden agenda behind hope for a better future, being kind to others and making good choices they kept it very well hidden. (Yes there are some folks trying to get nice cars, big boats etc out of talking about it, but the large majority of folks are not into that).
Straight forward?
okee dokeeThe belief that Christ will come back. I don't really see any overly complex ideas in it.

It isn't only 2 billion by the way; most of the Abrahamic religions expect the Messiah to bring in the Messianic Age:So 2 billion people actually believe Jesus will return and rule with a new earth? Hmm. Seams to me there might be a hidden meaning. What say you?
?When it comes to the Bible, I think the first place we should look for hidden meaning is behind the wish that it said something else.
So what's the hidden meaning that's in plain sight? It isn't only 2 billion by the way; most of the Abrahamic religions expect the Messiah to bring in the Messianic Age:
The 'Hidden Meaning' is there in plain sight; yet people don't see, as they've not been shown how to study the symbolism sufficiently.
- 2.56 billion Christians +
- 1.9 billion Muslims +
- 15.2 million Jews +
It is also possible to show the Messiah is Kalki/Skanda before the Age of Enlightenment in the Dharmic religions:
- 1.16 billion Hindus +
- 400 million Buddhists =
- (6035200000) six billion thirty-five million two hundred thousand.
In my opinion.
Well we could start with a basic from your OP:So what's the hidden meaning that's in plain sight?
